And most Bungie fans, such as myself, get excited for Bungie games because they're much more than just visual splendour. The attention spent on refining the gameplay is top notch, that's why we people get excited. Just a shame this reveal didn't discuss an ounce of actual game information.

I played a ton of Killzone 2 and 3. The former was solid, the latter was woeful. Neither spectacular from a gameplay perspective. AI was good, though.

And you make it sound like Bungie fans can't be interested in visuals, which is incredibly ignorant given some of the things Bungie have created.

Bungie games are visually splendid for their scale and scope, not how detailed a floor texture is, or a reload animation.

Killzone 2 was pretty fun. Haven't touched KZ 3 yet despite having bought the Helghast edition on release :lol

I simply don't find the motivation (or enjoyment) in putting time on multiplayer in all these modern shooters. The campaigns can be fun, especially when played on harder settings. Multiplayer usually just last for a short while before I find it becoming boring. Maybe I'm just stuck in the 90's golden era of FPS games which makes me biased to all the modern shooters.
