If ever a "major" gaming event fit that itsfuckingnothing gif, this one did yesterday. Old footage and the revelation that they invited a bunch of media up to Seattle for a Q&A session that resulted in more "No comment"s than actual info equates to me not really giving a damn about their project anymore. I'm sure when it's mere months from release I'll get interested again, but only if it's a next gen title. Not interested in buying new full price titles for consoles I've already replaced.
Yeah, I hope it was out of necessity. If it was truly meant to hype the gaming world, I think they failed spectacularly.
I found Bungie's reveal to be pretentious and unnecessarily vague. Given that performance, I think it's safe to say that Destiny is still in early-enough development that they don't have a lot of things nailed down yet.
