No, I switched to v.high. It's not making the performance any worse than it was at high.He was running the game on high, not very high though.

not possible to run maxed out ≠ unoptimized.FACE said:Cryostasis finally has competition for worst performing game ever.
Q4 2013.
Anyone with an HD 7970 here? All I see is nvidia -_-
I'm gonna get this game for free with my future 7970, so I wanted to see how it performs on it.

Didn't MaLdo release a file that gave better performance for the beta?
Sorry if I'm mistaken, I wasn't around for the full beta. Just thought I read that in passing.
Roughly this with the beta 4 drivers, can't find anything for beta 5 which is even faster again.
As long as you are okay with it being locked 30fps for the most!Oh, very good news then. A single GTX670 maxing out Crysis 3 with SMAA/FXAA ?
I like that.
Is there an option to turn off AO. Usually when games are dipping lower than I would like that is the first thing I turn down or completely off to get a huge boost in performance.
Glad I didn't get this right away. Will wait a bit till it gets optimized a bit.
bottom is very high settings (maximum) with 4xAA, mostly locked to 30 fps, occasional dips to 40 and 20

I don't understand. How can the GTX 590 out perform the GTX 680? Shouldn't it be the other way around? Do you have any insight on this, my friend?

The GTX 590 has been the best GPU available for almost the last year, and the highest end GPU available for the year before that.I don't understand. How can the GTX 590 out perform the GTX 680? Shouldn't it be the other way around? Do you have any insight on this, my friend?
So, is this the game which finally makes me upgrade my trusty GTX570?
Everything on Very High with only 2x SMAA and there's some significant dips into the 30s on a SLI 680 setup.
Someone make a douchebag steve with the following: Has two GTX 690s -> Takes compressed screenshots.
Cryostasis finally has competition for worst performing game ever.
Pretty sure you would need to 690s two even think about it until some better drivers/patches come out for performance.Guess I'll have to forget downsampling with my GTX570.
Makes me appreciate my 720p projector
I don't anticipate performance problems at that red with my 670.
Does the PC version have full controller support (360)?

I'm impressed.
and my last batch of medium/very high comparison shots
looks clearly better, but not that much, I'll go with the extra 20 fps for my first run
So very high settings is max I reckon? ( disregarding AA )
So very high settings is max I reckon? ( disregarding AA ) After the crackpot nomenclature used for the Crysis 2 presets you can never be too sure.
Jesus Christ those faces. I mean holy shit that is insanely good.
