That's the same sound (and animation) that Nintendo used in their initial unveiling of the Wii controller. So why doesn't it match the system?

Never watched/heard that when it first hit. Even still, just doesn't to me. <shrugs> Whoopdie doo. Animation is cool, sound logo isn't.

Either way that was ok. I'm glad their using that style for the Wii logo at the end. Very distinctive.

Haha I thought it was appalling, I hope the UK gets vastly different adverts as I can't see the English being impressed. Personally I wish they'd gone down a darker, less humourous route with it - more like the second half of the advert.

Commericial was meh, but the promo animation with the bobbing i's on the Wii is MONEY.

agreed. I get the feeling the little i's will animate differently for different games. This is set it Japan, so they're bowing.
