Need for Speed: Most Wanted Wii U Demo!Dat EA support.[Alex Ward of Criterion Games]

Gratitude?
you lost me there ...

No local multiplayer racing, what a shame ... no buy for me
Yes, i thank devs for going the extra mile. Unlike many other devs.
Criterion is great imo. They could have just made a lazy port, but decided to see how far they could go and what they could do different to make the game even a better fit for wii-U.

Got it ... and actually I agree.
It's still a bit of a letdown for me with no local racing splitscreen ... there's no way I can race my son ... sad. Gamecube version had splitscreen.

Are we sure we can't? One on the TV and the other on the gamepad?

I think all things considered, it may be (a little) unfair comparing Criterion to devs of other launch games. Nintendo clearly has been working to improve their development tools and docs, and I would guess that devs haven't had access to truly competent tools and docs till the November SDK update. Launch games have time constraints that are going to prevent them from benefiting. Now if it's a year or two later and certain games are seeing the same problems as the PS360 port launch games, then I won't argue against that at all.

Hi bg :)

Pretty much agree with you on this one. If it were a launch title, it might not look as good as it does now.

Yup, like Criterion stated.
Still, i doubt some actually tried. But we can't know for sure.

So fake or not fake?

This game is actually going have to wait in the end. Still want it but not day one. Not enough money and hopefully it will be cheaper when I do get it. Need to not let hype get me. There are other games I want more and have wanted longer.

I hate to say it, but there's 0 content for this on the eShop. Not a good sign, my first guess at this point is retail only, and only at certain retail locations :/

But I thought every WiiU title would be available on the eShop? I don't want to buy anything on disc for the WiiU.

Mass Effect 3 is not on the eShop, yet other EA titles like FIFA and Madden are.

There are no Activision games on the eShop.

What DLC is available? I know they just released one a couple of days ago with an airport or something. Not sure what else is out, though.

The Ultimate Speed Pack - which is included in the WiiU version

Gives you five new cars and a couple new unique events

Then there is the new DLC not included

Terminal Velocity pack - gives you five new cars, three new mods, two new game modes, the airport as a new part of the city and new events

NFS hero pack - five new iconic cars from the earlier NFS games and new events

Movies pack - five new cars from famous racing movies and new events.

I knew that a lot of gifs would come from this trailer when I watched it. But at least they chose the best song in the game for the trailer.

Here's the HD version for that trailer

don't know whether they made mistake.
nintendo's games are listed 720P, Nano Assault Neo is listed as 720P. Monster hunter is listed with 1080P and this game also listed with 1080P

Wants the largest console games publisher to avoid Nintendo's platforms.
There's no way this game is 1080p. So maybe they made a mistake.
I *think* the output resolutions listed on the eShop are just what the console feeds to the tv, i.e. the output signal. So its a compatibility thing, not a render resolution thing. IIRC it's the same as the info given on the back of the retail game boxes.
