Nintendo Downloads - March 2013

It looks like Treasurenauts from Renegade Kid is a Wii U eShop game, since Jools Watsham mentioned the 3DS FPS separately in his recent vlog, and they were talking about making another game for the Wii U outside of Mutant Mudds Deluxe.

Also, looks like the Wii U is going to get a lot of ports from Two Tribes, as well as Toki Tori 2, which they've just submitted to Nintendo. RUSH, EDGE, and maybe Toki Tori 1 are going to be on the eShop.

Two copies sold? That's not a bomb guys, stop trolling!!!
Asking it again, hoping someone will answer.

Guys, I don't know if this is possible, but I'm going to suggest it anyway. We have once in a week both 3DS and Wii U eShop charts posted by NintendoEverything. But, sincerly, those aren't as representative as UK / Japanese weekly charts since eShop charts are updated hourly, not weekly. So, could it be possible for any US user to post at least three times a week eShop charts? Having charts posted daily would be great, but I fear it could be maybe too much work. Anyone could post them, whoever has a 3DS with him. If I had a US 3DS, I'd do it myself, but I'm European, and the only thing I can post is Italian charts (and I'll post them in the future too!). It's a sort of idea I had during the last weeks when we've had the Fire Emblem thread, eShop charts being posted more...

So GAF, I'm asking you

is-such-a-thing-even-possible.jpg

I hope the answer is "Yes, it is" XD

I have to say I'm so glad I bought Harvest Moon: A New Beginning off the 3DS eShop instead of getting the physical version. Love being able to jump into it at any time when the desire to farm and gather materials for more building hits me. Same for Fire Emblem: Awakening.

I did not think this would be the case but I'm considering getting Luigi's Mansion digitally as well. I have a 16GB card in my system already but I think I might have to upgrade to a 32GB at some point. Need to clear out some of the older demos and some of the Ambassador games. Haven't done so yet on that front as it's going to be annoying to redownload them because there isn't a easy and more straight forward way of viewing what software you've already downloaded.

Still need to get Crashmo, Tokyo Mobs, and Mega Man.

I completely forgot about Club Nintendo until I saw it at the top of this thread. Just registered a bunch of games, plus a 3DSXL, and Wii U. Up to platinum already, all eShop purchases come with points too right?

Yup, all eShop purchases come with points. I think they give you more on certain titles also for buying the digital version. Also, if you're in NA, don't forget about the free 3DS game promotion.

ATV Wild Ride 3D isn't a future release anymore, it's actually coming out tomorrow, March 7. My review should be up tonight at Nintendo World Report. I had fun with it, and it plays great online.

Only two weeks till the only Wii U game that matters! Is MH3U gonna be up at midnight or Thursday when the shop updates? No chance in hell I'd wait two days for the store to update.

Yeah, I'm excited for Lego City too! ;-)

Is it the one from N64, cause this game is amazing.
Close as funny than the Gamecube one.

It so is. Paper Mario is a masterpiece.

Out of the few RPGs on N64, it's fantastic. One of the best games for the system, IMO.

Yes, it's great. Turn-based, non-random battles with action elements and some hilarious writing. It's also the prettiest N64 game.

It's the best RPG on the N64. Which isn't saying much. But it's still really good.
Better than Super Mario RPG, which was also really good.

Welp...there you go. Boughten!

Thanks. What about Wii U, then?

*looks at it better*

Ok, what the fuck is Etrian Odyssey IV doing in the current eShop chart in the 10th position? Are there availability problems like Fire Emblem or what? It's the first time I see a third party retail title making the current charts.

Playing through Fractured Soul. It's not amazing but it's a good action platformer with interesting level design. Lots of replay value if you go for 5 stars in each level which looks really hard.

I don't think it has any supply issues. Though I do remember Devil Survival Overclock was hard to find at first.

The Oracles Zeldas on 3DS would be nice.

They're already out in Japan, but I'm hoping that we'll see an E3 reveal of Majora's Mask 3D paired with a "and US 3DS owners can download the Oracle games in the eShop...RIGHT NOW!"

Then again, I've been waiting for Kirby's Dream Land 2 and Picross E for months. Here's hoping Zelda doesn't join those in US release limbo.

Lack of Oracle of Seasons/Ages to buy in places that don't rhyme with "Schmapan."

It would be hilarious if it came out tomorrow in the US, considering our upcoming eShop releases. Although Mega Man 3 might make an appearance, which is also pretty bad spacing by Nintendo.

I loved the demo. Only reason I haven't bought the full version is because US are getting a discount and I'm waiting to see if we get one in UK too.

Wow that HarmoKnight is really expensive! I was planning on getting it when it comes out, but now I think I'll wait for a sale. I have a huge Vita backlog and Fire Emblem Awakening, so no rush for me.

Will buy Kersploosh this week, and maybe ATV Wild Ride 3D if I can get confirmation on it running at 60 fps in 3D mode. More great times for the eShop ahead!

Will definitely pick up Legend of the River King and Nana Assault this week!

In the meantime, if anyone can tell me how to unlock the extra stones in Kersploosh, that'd be great.

I've been playing ATV for a number of days now and can confirm that it runs super smooth at 60 fps in 3D, offline and online.

edit: Posted a review of the game on my site, so feel free to check it out.

Just finished the game this week. Not even going to attempt to 5-star everything or try to climb the leaderboards as I just barely cleared all levels. Lol. But I had fun while doing so. Haven't unlocked all bonus levels yet though. I think I have 3 more to unlock.

Picross e... I've been holding off on buying it on the JP eShop cos I want to play it on a bigger screen (my US unit's an XL). I wonder what's taking them so long? EU already has it along with Picross e2. :(

What makes you so sure it's ever coming out in North America?

HOLY SHIT 60hz F-ZERO VIRTUAL CONSOLE GAHHHHHHHH AHHHHHHH!!!
How the hell did I miss this, I've been complaining since the Wii came out!

Oh god NES, Super Nintendo, SMS, Neo-Geo and Megadrive games will finally play at 60hz! I'm sooooo happy, now I have a solid reason to buy a Wii U besides Wonderful 101 and Bayo 2 and before EAD's MARIO 3D releases. Hopefully they'll gear up the releases of VC titles compated to 3DS.

Guys, I'm sooooooooo happy!!!! Never thought this day would come, sniff :'-)

Couldn't see if it has been posted but Resident Evil Mercs 3D is coming to the eShop on the 7th (as well as everything else by the looks of it, busy day) and will only be $20

http://www.nintendolife.com/news/20...rice_slashed_for_north_american_eshop_release

If only more companies would go for the reduced price when they put old titles up on the eShop (Ubisoft) gives me hope that Street Fighter 4 will be at a similar price when that comes to the store.

The 7th is going to be a very costly day for me.

I'm gonna do a big LTTP thread for La~Mulana as soon as it hits Steam.
I don't know why I neglected to buy it for so long, probably because I'm no longer interested in WiiWare, but now I'm so glad I did.

See, my X360 is a Live Arcade/Cave shmups machine, I have tons and tons of Live Arcade games.
My PS3 is also full of great PSN titles. Plenty of indies on my PC.
Wiiware not as much, I own less than 15 games for it (tons of VC games tho).
I like Cav Story and I can't wait for Cave Story+ on 3DS EUR, but this is on a whole other planet.

Well, La~Mulana is without a doubt high up in my top10 DD games of this generation and just a fantastic games all around. I know the term gets thrown around a lot but it really reminds of Dark Souls mechanics applied to a 2 platform/exploration game. It's incredibly charming, looks cool, it's 480p and you can mantain a proper 4:3 aspect ratio when played on a widescreen tv, although I have to say the game looks very good even squashed to fill all of the screen on my 720p Panny plasma (but I'm an aspect ratio taliban so I play in 4:3 mode).
For 1000 points it's a steal and filled with content even if missing that tiny bit of special "post-game" DLC (Hell Temple), it usually costs $15 for PC on Desura/Playism and now you can easily get Nintendo points for cheaper than 1000 points = $10. I played it with both a CC Pro and then a Wii Remoto solo and I have to say to my surprise that the latter was even better and I love cute gimmicks like using the Wii Remote's speaker.
So yeah, do yourself a favour and buy the game!

Yeah I wanna play La Mulana super bad, hope it gets released on another system, but if not I'll get it on Wii soon enough.

Is Metal Torrent an eShop exclusive game?

Well it's a DSiware game actually, but yeah. You thinking of cashing in CN points?
It's pretty cool, check out the trailer if you're interested.
