For this exact reason. It's a fun game. It gets people talking. There could be a variety of other reasons as well. Wanting to hype up another game, but not outright say you are making it because you already have one another game announced. Perhaps introduce a new western studio in the most attention grabbing way possible.

Hahaha no not the instagram photo, god knows who that is but would be funny if that was Liam Neeson underneath (never read the comics but big Raimi fan). I've linked the pic I was referencing but Sean was quite prominent in the lead up to MGS 4 and I'm sure even Geoff would know who he is.
