They didn't the game has only sold something like 130,000 units. It also added some new content despite it being pretty superficial. It was for people who skipped the 360/PS3/PC version. Clearly not many people.
It also came out over a year after the initial release.
And because I never addressed this before.
PS3 Version has free online.
Arkham City on Wii U has worse framerate, more texture pop and background streaming issues with the Unreal Engine (which injustice is built on)
Tv-Off play is a pretty small addition, Why would you want to play on a smaller low resolution screen? Its only a positive if you have a shit TV

Still really on the fence about buying this one, but I did enjoy the demo and Mortal Kombat 9 was one of my top 5 games in 2011 so I may grab it.

Outside of The Shade and Grodd who could they have used?.
Professor Zoom, Captain Cold, and Gorilla Grodd are fairly well-known within the DC Universe. Zoom's too similar to Flash, but Captain Cold or Grodd should have been playable.

Same discussions have been happening since MSH (does anybody argue about the cast in COTA? seems like it was perfect at the time. Probably because it was the first game)
You just can't please everyone with a fighting game roster. This is the first potentially great fighting game with DC characters in it. I'll support it just for that effort, and hope they boost the cast in the next iteration.
Skipping the game because Flash villains are missing? okay.

In my opinion, Superman's rogues gallery is what's lacking love.
Metallo, Parasite, Toyman, Mr. Mxyptlk, Brainiac, and Darkseid are all potentials, though Parasite would have a boring moveset IMO, while Metallo would be an aesthetic spectacle due to his design.
They already have Killer Frost, and I can't really blame them for going with her over Captain Cold, on account of boobs. And Grodd would've covered much the same ground as Grundy, Bane, and Doomsday.
But I'd play the shit out of Captain Boomerang.
Has there been any comparison made?
Also, regardless of performance, it really depends on what you want out of the game.
I'm going to play on 360 because of my friends, and I know there'll be a siezable community. I'll also be able to bring my stick if I decide to play locally or in tournaments.
Could you think up a playstyle for him? I'm having trouble visualizing his abilities in the format of a 2D fighter.

Now I think about it The Shade could work really well as a projectile based fighter with a few canes attacks thrown in. Kind of like a Joker, GL Mix.

Nothing is known of the wii u version. At all .. Which doesn't bode too well.

Yeah, I agree. He'd probably play quite differently from Supes. His attacks will be clumsy. Ice eye beams and heat breath would work differently from Supes, and he'll have tons of stupid lines to spout out. Bizarro would be too awesome to not eventually have. Especially if he has a Bizarro #1 sign around his neck for an alt. Yessss please.

If it was in anyway better I'm sure we would have seen evidence of it by now. Why would a publisher let worse footage of a title be wildly available when better quality footage could be shown?
It seems like a classic case of hide the shit version of the game so people don't get turned off.

It's strange how the four unaccounted for actors in the credits have voiced Lobo, Poison Ivy, Batgirl, and Scorpion (MK), but I don't think NRS would be so stupid as to leak the DLC by themselves like that.

It's a bit late for that, the iOS version was already released.
We could also be looking at a case where there's no visible difference and no one cares to make the distinction.
On the other side of the Two-Face coin, we've seen this before and it hasn't bode well before.

If they're in the credits, I would expect them to be the DLC.
And those characters, urg. Lobo, okay, fine, but two more Batman characters? And Scorpion, really?
