Nintendo Downloads - April 2013

They're two separate things, so you keep the Wii version even if you buy the Wii U version of a VC title.

Is this confirmed, or is it still just supposition?

We'll find out for sure this week after the system update comes out and the VC is finally available on Wii U, but just wondering if we've had any discussions from Nintendo directly or firsthand reports of how it works. Thanks!

So after fucking Fuse over and sending them into bankruptcy, Nintendo hired Silverball (Fuse reincarnated) again? And Silverball agreed? Geez. They must be desperate for money to fund the Pro Pinball revival.

I have to admit, I do enjoy Bear Shark. It's a shame that there is literally nothing else new on Nintendo Video. You'd think they'd at least promote a game or something.

I really only went to it for Kid Icarus/Kirby. We need more of that.

Supposition on my part, but I don't see why they'd delete the Wii copy when you buy the discounted Wii U copy.

The only reason I'd imagine them to is if they wanted to move the save file from the Wii system to use in the Wii U game and then just deleted the Wii game, while the process was there. Very possible that they'd just let you keep both games with separate save files instead, but wasn't sure if they had detailed the process, yet.

Ahoy Bit.Trip SAGA on EU eShop!

Man, March and April have been nothing short of amazing on both eshops for me. My wallet gently weeps.

I know I'm late, but the trailer for Witch and Hero is amazing. It's been a long time since I've disliked a gameplay video and actually still wanted to buy it. Good stuff.

Oh man. Virtue's Last Reward still hasn't been given a NA release on eShop yet. Bro. Not cool. ):

Hopefully sometime this year it'll be released. But I may have to pull the trigger and just get it physical, because I'm scared in the future that the game will jump in price.

EDIT: Oh shit, the physical version in 3DS is on sale at Amazon in gold box deal right now. 29.99. 78 percent claimed. Crap... 48 min to go...

The next Mario vs DK, which is coming on May 9th, I just saw the price on the eShop and it has it listed as 9.99. I never noticed that before as last time I saw it it was listed as TBA.

You know I was thinking about retail games that need to be on the eShop, I would really love to see Pac-Man & Galaga Dimensions. If they put that up on the store for a decent price (say $15) I'd be ready for a double dip.

I think all games need to be put on the eShop at a decent price point. I'd rebuy Dead or Alive, Ace Combat, Heros of Ruin, Crush3D, etc for $15-$20.

Crush3D already $20 at retail (is it evens till being sold at retail?), so that one should be decent price if it ever makes it way over to eShop.

How is that Witch & Hero game BTW? Any thoughts yet?

I tend to enjoy poorly rated games...heh
I enjoy it well enough.

It's essentially tower defense. You play the hero as enemies come in from the sides to kill the witch. Combat is Ys–like. As you kill enemies, you collect drops of XP and Money which you use to level up and enhance your equipment. You can collect blood to give to the witch that lets her cast magic.

Music is actually pretty great. If I were to assign a numerical score, I'd give it a 6/10. I put about 5 hours in and have completed it, I've maxed out my character as well.

Sorry if this reads weird, I'm posting this from my 3DS.
