Looks fun. A shame DC never tried to get a Gotham P.D show running.
Do you have any idea how fucking awesome Gotham Central would be as a TV Drama? AWWWWW SHIT. That thing is practically scripted already for TV

Am I expecting too much of this series if I hope that there will be internal conflicts between the counsil members and some political intrige? I mean, not Homeland with superheroes (ew) but at least some level of dissent among them. Looks great btw.

I'd be satisfied if they just did a more detective version of Arrow with Batman.Looks fun. A shame DC never tried to get a Gotham P.D show running.
the big get for this season is going to be a jeremy renner cameo
Yay, glad Coulson is still alive. He's one of the best thing about all the new movies. Avengers are going to be annoyed when they realize they were manipulated though.
I'm thinking Chris Evans is more likely based on some comments he made in the past (I believe, about being game to make an appearance or two on the show for a not-outrageous amount/lower than his pay for movie appearances) and the possibility for a tie-in to the Captain America: Winter Soldier movie that will come out in April, while this season is still running.
He just needs to be in crazy good shape.
So where are the super heroes.
So they just brought Coulson back from the dead?
This thread is so wall to wall with crow eaters that I can't fucking handle it. It's like an alternate universe.
The trailer isn't that good. The show might be awesome, or it might suck, we don't know yet. I don't get the whole attitude of "I might be wrong about this in a year, I better not voice an opinion at all" when it comes to stuff like movies and TV. It doesn't seem like the criticism has gotten crazy out of hand or anything.
Yeah, if this does well, there is literally no way DC won't make a Gotham Central TV show. And it would be fucking awesome.
Meh, it looks OK. Whose the black guy jumping out of the building?
It's annoying how they don't have the guts to actually kill anybody off but the villians in the MCU. I might watch this, but I'd be lying if I'm not irritated that Coulson is in this.

The glory of the retcon. He was a life model decoy! A skrull! It was all a dream!
Amy Acker was one of Dollhouse's saving graces along with Enver. I'm sure Whedon will find a way to shoehorn one or the other.
I don't quite understand why people keep saying this. They drop hints in The Avengers that Nick Fury was lying about Coulson's death to rally the team.
How so? They establish the trading cards thing throughout, then when Fury is trying to convince the team to assemble and avenge Coulson (using the bloody trading cards), it's made clear that he didn't have them on him and Fury manufactured an emotionally manipulative stunt. That's the entire scope of their implication. Anything beyond that is a retcon. It's not a big deal that they brought him back, and doesn't hurt the show in any way. But it's still a retcon. There isn't any need to deny it.
We see Coulson die on screen, and his death isn't faked. They brought him back because they needed someone Avengersy to headline the show and they obviously weren't going to get any of the main cast who are big movie stars. If there's truly some compelling evidence I'm unaware of, then I'd be happy to recognize it. I just don't know why they didn't say "we used some Marvel Cinematic Universe technology/magic to resurrect him." It's cheating death either way.
But again, it doesn't hurt my opinion of the show. It'll be judged on its own merits.
Marvel is going to bring all theinfuriating inconsistenciesgreatness of comics to the small screen, finally!
I wonder how they are going to set this up? If the premise is still chasing after people with super powers, there is an amazing list of F-tier villains they can comb through in a "monster of the week" format like early Buffy and Smallville. I wonder if they can use mutants since it's a TV show?
