Great stuff. This bit has me a little anxious though:

Not only was the show told out of sequence, it was shot out of sequence. Half of the stuff is on green screen. There are scenes where there are two characters talking to each other. On one side, it's Jason Bateman in July, and on the other side it's Portia in November.

There's not really a precedent for this much demand. Nobody stays up until midnight to watch content that's been available on other platforms for months or years.

Yup, between tidbits like this and the few clips/trailer so far not doing anything for me, my expectations are dwindling. I'm expecting a mediocre season with occasional moments of greatness at this point. Would be glad to eat crow in a week though.

So I finished my series walkthrough with my folks recently, we watched the DVD extra of "Last Day on Location."

Man, this bonus feature made me tear up back in 2006. It was a really great last look for the cast, wonderful words by Jason Bateman.

Watching it now, could do nothing but smile. Our Bluths are back, Baby!

Allegedly the first episode is pretty great and the cast seems happy with the second.

I know that's barely any real percentage of the season but it made me hopeful.
