Didn't have to sacrifice anything. Got the ps3 version , the vita port came free. The ps3 game is fundamentally good, so I'm happy. Thanks for sacrificing your wallets on Ratchet, folks. I was once curious about it.

“PlayStation 3” continues to deliver stable hardware and software sales, and Sony will continue to reinforce the business’ position as a stable source of profit. In particular, the Company will seek to grow sales of content and services through PlayStation Store and contribute to profit. For “PlayStation Vita” (“PS Vita”, the Company will aim to secure further sales and profit through various hardware sales initiatives and the introduction of compelling software titles. The next generation platform, “PlayStation 4” (“PS4”
will launch this year-end holiday season. PS4 will deliver a quality gaming experience only possible through a dedicated gaming system, and will also enable smartphone and tablet users to share in the enjoyment of PS4, even without owning one themselves. Furthermore, customers who own both PS4 and PS Vita will be able to experience new services and game entertainment. Sales of digital downloads are increasing rapidly as the delivery of game content transitions from disc media to sales over the network. The Company is also working towards streaming PlayStation games by leveraging the cloud technologies of Gaikai Inc., acquired last year. This would enable the PlayStation experience to be enjoyed across a wide range of products, providing significant opportunities for further business expansion. As a result of these measures, Sony will target sales of 1 trillion yen and operating income margin of 2% in the game business in FY14. Going forward, Sony aims to significantly expand its business model around PS4, to transition the business to further growth in the fiscal year ending March 31, 2016 (“FY15”
and beyond.
The mobile, imaging and game businesses will continue to be the core businesses that drive Sony’s electronics business growth. Sony is projecting that approximately 65% of total sales and approximately 80% of operating income for the entire electronics business will be generated by these three businesses by FY14.
If all the promises are lived up too, then Sony's E3 will be packed with PS4 and Vita games. I hope these compelling titles aren't just ones we already know about.

Okay, what game do I get next fellas :V I own
Rachet & Clank: QForce is up on the EU store now, if err... anyone wants that.
Price Drop is making me hope that these games are gonna get off IGC after E3.
The more I hear about QForce the sadder I get... I was really looking forward to a new Ratchet & Clank. There's no hope for this title, is there?
Every. Fucking. Week.Another SCEE sale with no Vita presence. But then I guess the Vita doesn't have fighting games like the PS3's The Lord of the Rings War in the North, so it makes sense.
Best you can hope for is improved frame rate, I'd say.
Not sure if this has been posted before but some vita games have a price drop now on the UK store. That means those prices will remain like this, right? The games are:
Uncharted £20
Gravity Rush £12
WipEout 2048 £12
Smart As £12
Resistance £20
Mortal Kombat £20
I'm not sure if there might have been more games.
After playing more of the Men's Room game one of the big flaws is there's various objectives to complete, but once you've completed them you don't get new ones until you quit your current game and start a new one.
If I buy my wife a Vita could she use the same account and share games? Or is that something technically allowed (I think you can have 2 vitas set up on one account?), but against TOS?
You can register your PSN account to two of each console, yeah. It's not like Sony is gonna know your wife is using it instead of you, haha.If I buy my wife a Vita could she use the same account and share games? Just means you can't play online together. Adhoc might be fine, though.
Yes, you can.
Yes, that is not really a good way to implement "progression". However, you can still keep playing for the sake of getting more points and a better spot on the leader boards. It's not as if the objectives are the only incentive to play.

Past that spaceship part at the beginning, the framerate seems to be closer to the 15-30fps range, but rarely seems to be at 30fps.

Also level of detail is reeeeally bad. You can see the detail coming in about 5 feet in front of Ratchet:

That point in front of Ratchet where the grass texture ends is pretty consistent with the distance in front of the character the detail pops in.
Damn... But I can't wait to hear toto opinion on this...
Just wanted to pop in and ask what a good price for a 32gb card these days is. I just have my 4gb card and just got PS+. Should I wait til after E3 for a potential memory card price drop?

I'm watching the PS4 Meeting again, and Andrew House said something I heard but never really paid attention to at the time because I was so pumped for PS4. He said:
"In fact, the operating system and chipset inside the PS Vita are so powerful, we think it could bring significant value to gamers' living room experiences. We know the potential for expanding PS Vita to the living room is real, and promises to deliver amazing gameplay and multimedia. We'll be talking more about this exciting initiative later this year."
I wonder what he's referring to there. I initially thought he was referring to remote play but they talked about that at the event. He said they would talk more about it later this year.
Oooh. People who need to pee can use either the urinals or the stalls, that makes it so much easier.

Magnetic By Nature could come to PS Vita.
Here it is his project on Kickstarter.
I send them this mail:
"Is there a PS Vita in mind? It would be a perfect fit..."
They answered:
"We would love to have a PS Vita Version. Unfortunately, Playstation is very silent about how much their full dev kit costs. We are planning on getting the mobile dev kit, (which they released for free this summer), but we are pretty sure that this lower end dev kit won't run our game properly, (not powerful enough). We are definitely looking into it though, and will notify our backers if it becomes a possibility. You are right, the Vita is the perfect platform for our game".
So, I contact Shahid via Twitter and he said:
"My email is shahid_ahmad@scee.net, happy to hear from you and help if I can."
So... after some days, the Studio finally answer:
"Thanks very much @shahidkamal and @MaLTRaiN! Email sent! We'd absolute love to be on a Sony handheld of some variety".
So... let's hope this finish right.
Bought two Vita games today.
Here are the hints: pee and crops.
Super excited to play.
Peersona 4 and Crops Party?
Very close. Men's Room Mayhem & Farming Simulator 13.
