Major, why do you think gamers should buy XboxOne?"

XBOX ONE is the only all in one console, you should buy it because...

we had Call of Duty on stage yesterday?

Edit:

Holy shit I can literally predict all of his answers.

MN:"Today's gamers want access to great games...the Xbox One will have great games powered by Xbox LIVE. We've worked hard to create the ultimate All In One Console. BTW : We have a LOT more gaming news to share at E3 :)"

Dude not answering a simple question of "hey we share a box at home. can we share games?" is really fucked up. The most fucked up thing is that the answer probably will be "yes," they just haven't figured out how yet.

(my guess: TV and football)

Wow, he is really just going to regurgitate the same PR line.

Maybe it's not some giant PR conspiracy and its genuinely true?

Keighley said yesterday that a lot of this is software (not hardware) and is still being finalized. I'll wait till we get closer before jumping to major assumptions on some decisions based on conflicting reports.

Never knew who Major Nelson was before yesterday. I only recently got back into consoles after being PC for many years.

What a cheesy persona.

In the early days of the 360 he came across as more of a guy who worked at Microsoft that was fairly clued in, but not a polished community manager. Kind of an ombudsman. Then somewhere along the line he became this weird PR regurgitator.

I can't really answer any of your questions right now but, in the interim, have you seen our new doorstop?

Jason Gilbert, Yahoo News: A question a lot of you are asking: What's behind the name "Xbox One," and how did you convince the entire world that it was going to be called the Xbox 720?

the fuck, now yahoo staff is asking questions. This is a complete joke.

I ended up asking a Q:

"What are Microsoft doing to welcome smaller, independent developers to the Xbox One."

Hope it gets answered.

I've asked if I can carry on sharing disks between me and my son with the 2 Xbox 360's we have in the house.. I suspect the answer is 'no'..

I interviewed him years ago on a podcast and honestly when the tape is not rolling he is a very cool dude who actually does "get it" but as you can imagine the thumb over him is very big. He was open even on the show about how much he enjoyed the other consoles and the DS if I remember at the time.

Good to hear. I just meant the name Major Nelson sounds cheesy to me though.

My question... which has probably already been answered...

With the amount of consumers flocking away from a traditional cable model for entertainment, why did Microsoft choose to center the console around a cable subscription model? Additionally will these cable features be dependent on cable providers?
