To be fair I think not even the current Hinata herself is as romantically inclined with Naruto as many of her fans would like to believe. Well, maybe that's just me though, but honestly I think "I want to be with him forever" is not Hinata's 'objective' right now, so to speak.

Oh, I agree in that her goals right now go far beyond being Naruto's wife. She wanted to change herself, become a stronger person with confidence who could stand up for herself and be acknowledged by those around her and that's what she's doing NOW, in this war and this time. Standing beside Naruto is also a current goal (a goal many of us had assumed she had clinched at this point but WHO KNOWS NOOOOWW?!?!) but it's not her only one.

Which is why if Naruto is still chasing this BS road-to-no-where after all this shit then I say he doesn't deserve her anyway.

See, initially, I kinda read it as a silly throwaway comment. Unless I'm reading too much into this, Naruto is very keenly aware that Sakura is head over heels in love with Sauske. It seems silly to continue dragging this thing out.

I did to but this is a manga not about romance so shipping and shippers can't ignore things like this.

And yes, it's clear that Naruto knows how she feels. Which makes this even more WTF in my book.

Well, I don't necessarily disagree that in terms of power level Kishi favors male characters more (but then again, almost if not ALL mangakas are guilty of this, including Oda and Kubo), but I just don't agree that in order for female characters to have a 'presence' or being acknowledged as useful they need to have similar or even surpass the power levels of the guys/the strongest characters.

The best kind of shonen power ups are the ones gained off screen and shown via flash back. Why even bother having a flash back at all just give the protagonist the power up to win the fight don't waste time explaining the power up just make an awesome power up and show our main character destroying.

Also thought that same but there's better ways that line coulda been said if it's a joke. Maybe it's a Japanese-to-English trans thing? But yeeeeaaah ... there's better ways of conveying that that's a joke than what I read from the Mangastream scan.

Even the most powerful and useful woman, Tsunade is the weakest of the three sannin.

I'd disagree. Tsunade was made Hokage for god's sake, and her strength was said to be the strongest out of them three. Not to mention having instant healing.

The only reason she had a problem during the last big fight between the sannins was due to getting a phobia for blood.

That WOULD be a nice running gag ... if Naruto had a harem of females he interacts with I guess. See, I hated the berserk Hollow form. I'm actually really happy they drop kicked the whole mask thing altogether. I do wish the Fullbring/Shinigami combination had been more of a 50/50 for both sides rather than a 90/10 in favor of the old Shinigami outfit.

Bleach's biggest problem is that it over uses the "power up" trope, for every awesome moment like Ichigo's berserk hollow or Renji's bankai we get two shitty ones like Chad's OTHER arm or Kenpachi's "kendo".

My favorite not Aizen troll moment in Bleach is probably when Ichigo regains his powers in the Fullbring arc, swings his sword slightly releasing a huge blast of energy then saying "that was just the pressure of my sword not a real attack"

Still makes me very sad. Miu's VA died so they had to find a replacement. There have been OVAs but it doesn't make up for the loss of the anime.

The anime is good though they added some decent filler but skipped a bit of stuff.

No, Monster is his masterpiece.

For me, 20th Century Boys is garbage. That and (according to some, I haven't read it) Billy Bat really showcase the worst of his tendency to "blabber" and "add nonsense to make it appear mysterious though in truth it is stupid" around.

Seriously, 20th Century Boys was and still is one of the worst examples of 'streeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetch' borefest I have ever seen. And the conclusion was insultingly (for me at least) unsatisfying too.

Pluto was alright.

Brisk pacing, I really liked the Hitsugaya scene. Showed competency and humility that he hasn't shown once in the entire manga. Stop being a BankaiTard and learn some actual skills.

The opening scene was also cool with Ichigo, I want to see where that goes. Hisagi and his bankai, training with a guy who was slighted by Tousen in the past, excellent.

Never been a huge fan of Yogi Bear but maybe Kubo can make me care. Good chapter.

IDK, till Hashi can show he can keep up with Minato's speed and ridiculous reflexes (Which is doubtful considering he not only got to the battle first, but he managed to warp a continental buster attack, set up multiple tags for Hiraishin, and tease his son before the rest arrived) , I'll say a battle between them can go either way. All of his large mountain busting jutsu mean jack shit when Minato can just warp them away to another location with minimal chakra usage. And even now, to this fucking day, Minato is still the only character in Naruto, possibly in manga history, to not ever take legitimate damage in a fight. Not a single time. Whatsoever.

Goddamn stop saying this crap. Hashirama can change landscapes and make Minato´s special kunai displaced so his teleportation will be useless. Hashirama has attacks that turn a desert into a deadly forest for any enemy. Not to mention his wooden clones which are indistinguishable from the real ones. Not to mention his pollen attack that can cover a huge area. Not to mention the 1000 hand god thing that can bitch slap the Juubi. Minato´s teleportation is useless without his special kunai. Minato´s warping thing takes a huge effort and a lot of chakra. He unaffected now because he´s edo tensei. Minato could barely fight the Kyuubi. Hashirama defeated Madara, and the Juubi. Minato is chop liver in comparison to Hashirama and to a less extent Madara.

The third knows every single jutsu in Konoha and was called the professor, and Kishi himself said that the third in his prime was on the same level as Minato.

Tobirama has a genjutsu that turns large area into pure darkness, and edo tensei, and who knows what else. Minato is as special as every kage, except weaker.
