The talent behind the game is all that has to be known. Plus for the first time, they won't be creativity limited or having to deal with interfering publishers. It's going to be big dude.
Wow your posts in MS threads are funny, so much delusion. FF isn't huge and certainly not the biggest exclusive any of the big 3 could get if they wanted.
Not sure where the Fallout 4 rumours are coming from, don't think they'll be true, if they are that'd be huge.
This better not mean MS have exclusive rights to a next-gen version of GTA V!!!
I dunno. I think EA lacks the ability to release a CoD killer. CoD is also so big as it is, because it is multi-platform. You don't release a CoD killer exclusive on a system. With Titan, Id say they have an franchise that could easily sell a great deal of systems. That IP will have the marketing of a game that sells 9 to 10m.
I don't believe Bethesda would not put Fallout 4 on PC.I think realistically speaking the only major scoop would be Fallout 4, but there's no weight to that speculation - if anything it'll be exclusive DLC.
ok.
Weren't you one of the biggest offenders of 'there'll be so much salt' in the pre-reveal thread for the Xbone? You'd know a lot about delusion, eh.
FF is bigger than Fallout, tbh.
FF is still the third party franchise with the most worldwide appeal. FF13 sold over 2 million in every major region.
Does the $1b sum include third party exclusives? If so and something this big would happen, I can only pity their 1st party titles lol Such a deal could easily cost $300m at this point. Why would that happen?
...the 1 billion not really about third party'exclusive windows and things to create differentiation'
So timed exclusives and exclusive DLC.
I wouldn't assume they're outright buying exclusives - third parties are reluctant to do that.
What talent? They're an unproven studio who have the ex-IW guys. Theres no guarantee hit. Like EA will let them do whatever they want. I'm going to see what the hell it is before pulling stuff from my ass. Not saying it cannot be big, just saying theres no guarantee.

The entire studio is made up of developers who've worked on the biggest shooters in gaming. Cod, MOH back when the series was huge. Every where they've gone they've had massive success. An exclusive game from them is big news.
I cant see it happening.
If we take a step back and look at the general rumours going into this E3 it seems like MS has a massive advantage when it comes to western support. Ether through exclusive DLC's in already hugely popular franchises or exclusive games from big name western developers.
They already have all there 1th party targeting X1 as well as a bunch of new teams working on new IP.
Sony on the other hand is bring a lot more Japanese support and I am sorry but that wont cut it when most Japanese development has been a shit show for years. They have 1th party developers scattered on both ps3 and ps4 with ps3 getting a sequel to PlayStations most popular franchise the same season the ps4 is out which is maybe the dumbest move since 599.
Sony will need some pretty big shockers to come out better then MS at this E3
FF isn't huge, lol!
Nobody expected it to be that bad.
No an no.Hasn't FF always been exclusive to PS in Japan, where it does the bulk of sales??
FF huge really? Megaton? This isn't 2003-2006 anymore guys that train ended![]()
No. But some people are convinced that FF is irrelevant, so it's not such a big deal, lol.
I cant see it happening.

Sure it ain't. An exclusive that could sell 6-8 million is definitely not big lmao. Oh and FF is bigger than Fallout.
If FF (that is, mainline FF) is not "huge", then the only "huge" third party franchises are CoD and GTA. That's a very limited definition.FF huge really? Megaton? This isn't 1997-2006 anymore guys that train ended![]()

Microsoft follows all the normal steps towards failure. That doesn't bode well. Its like that all the time when a big one makes a mistake.
Do we know that?...the 1 billion not really about third party

EDITED: Wrong.Yeah because FF is at it's peak isn't it ..., it wouldn't do anywhere near that these days, the quality has damaged the brand too much.
Didn't Fallout 3 do about 5m in it's first 3 months??
FF does the bulk of its sales in the West. Even FF13 (such a shitty game) did 2/3 of its total shipment (6.6 million last I checked) outside of Japan. That game basically did that entire shipment off the name of the franchise. FF has been crap this past generation, but it's still a bigger game/franchise than pretty much every third party title out there excluding the really big dogs like COD, BF, Fifa, Assassins Creed etc. And to be frank, nothing is really bigger than those anyway. They're basically the giants which will never be exclusive. Basically, it's still a pretty big franchise and it's a pretty dumb thing to try and argue it isn't as it sits on the tier of franchises just below that. One of the biggest? No? If so how would that be delusion more hope. Same with my expectations of MS games at E3, I expect good things.
Hasn't FF always been exclusive to PS in Japan, where it does the bulk of sales??
lol no. Assassins Creed, Battlefield both over 8m each.
Thats not stopping those being kinect games and arcade game though, you really think that those 15 games will be core new ips?.
I seriously think people saying FF exclusive isn't big have a certain agenda. :/
MS wouldn't say this kind of thing unles they really have big cards under their sleeve.
Get over yourself and check what thread you're in, the only people that have an agenda are Sony fans littering One threads.
I think PS4 will beat One and I think it'll have far better games that help it do that than FF, can you not hack someone saying FF isn't huge anymore?
I gave you two examples and you can't even dispute it.
