Yeah, yeah, 60fps is nice. This Halo reveal feels a little off to me.

The plain fact that they're not labeling it as a fifth entry makes me worried they're about to rocket the series in a new direction. It might need a new flow of gameplay, but I'm worried this is where the road ends for the Halo we once knew. That's okay.

What's not okay is the cloak. Like, what the hell? The genetic modifications and trillion dollar suit just can't compare to classic burlap. I understand. The trailer needed its lid-off moment, but it was stupid.

i think its really interesting that johns armor is damaged (visor is broken) and he's all alone on this planet, without the unsc.

really cool setting imho, hope it will go a bit back to roots.

i wonder what the cloud feature will be

Why is he wearing a cloak on top of Spartan Armor?

Makes no sense.
Yeah, I saw a guy in a cloak, guessed by context it was the Chief... and thought "You've got to be kidding me."

Other than trying to "look cool/dramatic", I'm interested to hear -why-.

It's good that 60fps is becoming a marketing point.

Sony should learn.

Is this real life? It's better than anything I could've ever wanted out of next gen. An actual, substantial, gameplay enhancing buzzword amidst all the cloud processing and DRM shit.

Only played Halo 1 but always been interested as it seems good.

60fps is great news, hope more games push that.

As zoukka said, 60fps can become a buzzword that means something. We can measure it and see!

WHY THE ACTUAL FUCK!....

Did they not call it Halo One?

That would have been perfect. There is a reason no one clapped when they saw the Halo logo, because no one realised it was a new game until it was told.

Well..that was stinking awesome....did not see that coming....Master Chief!!

How in the? What?

The number one thing you can almost *GUARANTEE* at a Microsoft E3 conference is a Halo game being talked about or shown. How could you not see this coming? Lol

The most underwhelming Halo trailer ever. 3 and 4 had such great teasers. Felt so stale. Like a bad version of the Halo 3 E3 trailer. Chief in a desert. Massive machine.

60FPS sounds pretty promising though.

That's what I'm thinking. MS not having Halo at a conference is something completely impossible.

This is the single biggest reason I'm interested in the Xbone. 60fps Halo is something I've wanted since the first Halo.

I knew Halo would be there ...just didn't see this trailer as Halo until MC hand was revealed...was thinking a Destiny preview or something along those lines. It didn't have that Halo feel from the get go....

There was a little part of me that thought "OMG this might be Halo" as I was watching. The hood didn't look like it was resting on a normal human head. It was too large and flat on the top. Kinda like the top of Chief's helmet. Then his arm came out and I was like o_0

Hope 343 can do better with this one. Halo 4 was a missed opportunity, but it was their first title so I have no problem with giving them a pass on that one. Looks like I've got about a year and a half (guessing Fall of 2014 release) to raise $560. That's gonna suck. :/

60 fps? Yesss. Dedicated servers? YESSSSS!

Interesting trailer, but didn't show much. Can't wait to hear more. Going to be a long wait until we get it though.

So, I watched the trailer and listened to the comments very carefully after.

I might be looking way too much into this, but nowhere -- not once -- did they explicitly say that it was an Xbox One "exclusive".

There was some text on the screen when the camera pans out to the audience, but even in 720p it's too blurry to make out... Maybe it says it there but if not then maybe we have a megaton on our hands for Sony's conference?
