She is. The soundtrack will be boss. Not exactly gameplay related, but is there any word if Shimomura is still scoring the game? I hope Somnus is still there, it sounds incredible.

The music in the trailer is one of the most iconic and inspiring music I've ever heard. I honestly put it up there with Beethoven classics. I think that's why so many people were looking forward to this game. The story, characters and music just scream timeless classic. This may be the next FF7.
Shimomura is one of the big reasons KH strikes such a chord with me. No, I mean the small map that is on the down right corner. There's the detailed map of the city, and then there's a kind of map that shows a big continent and smaller islands around it.

I've only tried KH a bit on ps2 but I will definitely get the ps4 sequel. I like action adventure games with a good story. If SE can get awesome gameplay like DMC/ ninja gaiden etc. with a good FF story plus some next gen innovation, then we have a master piece for the fifteenth coming.
I hope it's not just warp and slash on the gameplay. I will say that the teleportation looks like something possible only with next gen hardware. It's pretty crazy that he can warp with his swords from long distances almost anywhere. If that concept works through out the whole game, it would be amazing. I loved that huge hydra as well. It reminds me of the epic moments from FFX. I hope the past 7 years didnt go to waste and they added a lot of quality and ambition in the game.
This isn't DMC or Ninja Gaiden. Going in and expecting that kind of depth/requirement of skill is going to set you up for disappointment. It's an action RPG. It's a bit buttonmashy, but (hopefully) not braindead so (if it's challenging enough, just going in and mashing buttons ain't gonna cut it, but neither will it have the depth of combos that something like DMC offers nor will it require über-reflexes like Ninja Gaiden on non-easy difficulty settings).I've only tried KH a bit on ps2 but I will definitely get the ps4 sequel. Reports are saying that the leviathan in the trailer is actually a summon.no summon, no FF
An old trailer already showed a Summon command. They should be in, in one form or the other.no summon, no FF
Wait for the next trailer
GAF will lose their minds.
All we've seen in this trailer is a tiny glimpse of what the game offers - the next one will be a real blow out.
That would likely be TGS, right? So we might not get much until September unless they have more interviews or features in magazines.
I wonder what the chances of this getting some sort of special edition when it releases. If it came with the soundtrack I might import.

I would totally import a SE PS4 themed after Versus. Given Cloud got one, and Lightning got 2 PS3's, they better damn well give XV one.
A good thing that the PS4 seems like it's well suited for LE versions unlike the mess that is the super slim.
Thank god for that.
Going to import the inevitable FFXV and KH3 edition PS4s.
I'm totally in for XV.
I want to see if Cloud is featured in KH III before I get to excited. It just wasn't the same spending all the money for KH 3D despite my love for it, when my favorite character wasn't in the game.
Don't they plan on moving away with the FF cameos? I wonder if we even see any characters but Lightning in the game, or if they are exclusive Arena bosses.
And I swear by god, If they pull a FF13-2 arena DLC bullshit I'm doing something horrible to square... The arenas were always the best part about the KH games. I DARE THEM. I was so disappointed when I got to the arena in FF13-2 only to notice it has NO PURPOSE without DLC. Square just can't handle DLC, they should better leave their fingers from it.
They've never said they want to fully cut out Final Fantasy as far as I know.
Nomura continues to have cameos happen (Zack in BBS) and knows Cloud remains a very popular character. Given he's even had Showdown of Fate 1 and 2 makes me believe he isn't in any hurry to drop Cloud and Sephiroth from Kingdom Hearts.
The question is how important they will be for the story tho. I can see them being little more than just extra bosses. I sure hope they stay. In fact, I'd hope we'd see even more of them.
Just the fantasy of a "all FF cast" in a game makes me excited (without being a mediocre fighting game).
Also, who knows, the bottom screen might not be CG after all.
Besides the video quality, it seems like the CG has changed a bit in terms of lightning and adding the guy in the background.

Yeah strangely enough is as if the trailer didn't contain a single in-engine cutscene... I wonder why. Unless some of them WERE in-engine, but I guess if that was the case S-E would hurry up underlining it considering is impressing.
Good catch! The guy in the background is this guy actually...a key character.I watched it frame by frame yesterday its definitely him.
The summon thing, i wonder how they'll manage it.
In previous FF (i've played 7 to 10) they were easier to do, because they were more or less cutscenes and in separated environments (the battles taking place on a different plane than the explorable area).
If they were to implement something like the Leviathan in FFXV, what happens when i summon it in the subway? Or in a limited space in general?
Honestly I'm guessing the summons will work much closer to an Esper/Eidolon from XII/XIII or even the Kingdom Hearts Summon system then anything from VII-X.
Can you give me a quick run down? As i haven't played those games.
