If you tend to buy a lot of things at or close to launch, it's probably not the best service for you. The launch discounts on a lot of indie games (and even some Day 1 Digitals) have made up for the subscription fee for me though. I also sold physical copies of games that I got in the IGC from time to time.

Correct. When you re-subscribe, you get access to everything you've ever gotten via the service.

Not disappear, but you can't access them if you are not subscribed. Once you resubscribe you get access back.

I've found a few gems just from trying games I'd never normally try. The Warhammer 40k game they gave out last summer turned out surprisingly fun, and I absolutely never would've tried it otherwise.
