While I want a vita part of my problem is that:

1. i don't really care about franchises
2. Only thing in that list I'll buy is FFX/x2 and I doubt I'll play them because FF games aren't any fun anymore unless you cheat the shit out of all the tedious/shitty elements (like grinding for drops or whatever, aint no one got time for that)
3. I'd play some of those....If I never paid a cent for them. Like my interest in them stops where I have to pay money for them.
4. I also don't want shitty shovelware indie games either.

So right now only things I'm interested in on the vita are:
Various psn games or ports of older games which I'm in no rush to play
various rpg games that arent action games
racing games, is there any other than wipeout? Other than P4G all the games I might have bought are right there for free in my PS+ account. If I didn't have that, I'd be buying a PSV for....P4G. Maybe Disgaea. Other than some non "vita" titles, that's literally all that interests me right now in terms of paying money to obtain games that are never on sale or are hardly ever on paltry sales.

What am I interested in that is not out from now until the end of the third quarter:
valhalla knights 3, (maybe) rainbow moon and dragon fantasy, Atelier Meruru Plus maybe but it's a little anime for me.

I mean sure, there are games, there are things to buy. But the large majority is shit I'd never touched unless it was free, like God of War or killzone (fps on a handheld? fuck that).

1. Me neither, most of them anyway - I'm really looking forward to most of them though. I picked up a lot of Vita games and I know what will be fun to play on it - seen quite a bit of footage of most of those.

I forgot Dragon's Crown as well and that's one of the most anticipated titles. Vita makes games fun as well, you'll see when you get one. Other games are just super suited to Vita - Rayman Legends and the new Oddworld game for example, possibly DBZ too. Don't underestimate Tearaway either.

And after how great Guacamelee, Hotline Miami, Limbo, Velocity Ultra and Sound Shapes were, I'm not discounting any indies on Vita. In fact I tend to ignore indies if they aren't on Vita - can't be bothered, Vita is the most convenient and suitable.


Racing games other than Wipeout (which also includes HD/Fury if you have them digitally on PS3, same account):
NFS:MW - 60hours in this plus
Sonic Racing Transformed - great game, great port
MotoGP 13 - EU (as is MUD) - motorbikes are fun
Ridge Racer with the DLC
Motorstorm RC
Urban Trial Freestyle is sort of
Modnation if you don't care about framerate or online and like making your own levels or downloading them

Honestly if it was not for the Capcom stuff I might actually think this "could" be legit, because FamousMortimer did tell us that Sony was building localization teams, and the end of that post seems to reflect the possibility of that being true. It would also explain Shahids JRPG poll because im sufe if Sony themselves are going to begin porting third party japanese games they would want to know which to focus on.

The capcom stuff completely kills this though since Capcom seems to actively want the Vita to die a quick death.

I do find it interesting how strongly Tecmo supports the Vita though, its alittle crazy how much they have, and are putting out for the Vita.

Has anyone tried Tokyo Jungle Mobile yet? The Quicklook of the PS3 version seemed awesome, but haven't heard too much about the mobile version.

It's awesome. I love it just as much as the PS3 version, even though it's different in a lot of ways.

Nyko Power Grip is pretty good, and is good for small and big hands.

PDP Trigger Grip have triggers but the shape can give you hand-cramp if your hands are big.

I got the Pdp and they were a waste of money. The triggers suck. Nice to hold and all but not when they ruin the L+R buttons. Might be worth it for you but for $15 I think they're a ripoff.

There is no advantage for us, but it eliminates the need to pay for packaging, distribution, plus there's no retail chain to take its share of the profits.

We are pretty loyal, but I will HAPPILY be negative about the various issues I have regarding Vita and Sony when I feel it's legitimate. Nintendo fans tend to be much worse and more defensive (often blindly). I saw two guys yesterday on a thread defending Nintendo's lack of a proper account system.

Care to tell me what they are if what I said is so outrageous? The indie support is great! But they don't fulfill the same role as big retail games like Killzone and Tearaway. I really enjoy my Vita. But I don't see anything in the future beyond those two games except for God of War 1 & 2 HD Collection, a port of a game that itself is a re-release of two older games.
