I would hit ten Street Passes in a row for AC as the mosf recently played game before the streak was broken by MK or Settings or something, so those sales don't disappoint.

Good for TLoU, too, even if the game didn't do much for me.

Need the rest of the console numbers.

Stunned at the sales of luigi considering it's been 4 months. Makes me excited to get my own copy when I get my 3ds.... but oh goodness there are too many games.... fire emblem and SMT gotta come first. Maybe luigi will be 3rd.

Great for The Last of Us, it deserves its success, bigger than Uncharted and trailing behind God of War 3 is an impressive result.
Also I'm happy that the 3DS is gaining some decent traction, a new successful platform shoulnd't sell than 200k monthly in the US.
PS3 and 360 need price drops immediatly, they've stayed too long without one.
WiiU/Vita, the disaster twins :p

Two copies sold? That's not a bomb guys, stop trolling!!!
So the Wii version of DKCR sold at least 7k copies in June?

Because PR's purpose is to make a company look good (same reason why Nintendo ignores Wii U)

With combined, Nintendo means retail + digital.
Woah @ Luigi's Mansion 2 at 750,000 units, and doing 115,000 in its fourth month O_O

Man, Minecraft really is the new The Sims. Mass market audience that never seems to go away.

Maybe I'm late on this myself, but I think part of the continued interest is the availability of the (beautifully packaged) physical release. As you said though, that game is pretty darned evergreen.

Yes, but DKCR 3D sold less units than LM2 but is higher up on the NPD chart. Which seems to me to indicate that the Wii version actually sold over 7k copies, probably over 10k since it was #7 compared to Luigi's 10

I think that even with a price drop nintendo can make 100 billion yen just off the 3DS which is about to explode.

Pokemon
Pikmin
Dream Team
3D World
W HD
LTTP 2

And royalties from 3DS software

Thought I'd check out June 2007....

Playstation 3 -- 98.5k
Xbox 360 -- 198.4k
Wii -- 381.8k
DS -- 561.9k
PSP -- 290.1k

So, 852k for handhelds back then, 225 + Vita (15k?) now.

Man.

I think you nailed it. What a lot of people overlook in The Sims series is the sandbox, building aspect of it, something that is also the core of Minecraft.

Nah. It means the download total of LM2 pushed it's monthly total over Donkey Kong for June.

Luigi could have sold more digitally. Nintendo combines retail and digital in their numbers.

Gogogo 3DS!

Nice to see The Last of Us at the top. A new IP with emotions and no dudebro shootbang involved (well, mostly) is a dangerous proposition these days.

3DS is did relatively well, good to see, and hope it actually keeps up and then Pokemon would probably take it up another gear.

As for TLOU, I am soooooo pleased to see it doing exceptionally well everywhere! Well done and deserved Naughty Dog!

Look for me on the local news, I'll be the guy arrested for trying to burn down a Nintendo exec's house.

Man.

The DS was an unholy beast that had white lightning for blood, but I guess its interesting to see the PSP sales as well. That really is a market thats smartphones and tablets now.

Wildcard berths that can't beat teams without a winning record should have homefield advantage
Man the handheld market has really shrunk.

iOS/tablets/etc have absolutely destroyed this market. This is pretty much the highest non-holiday number we'll see for handhelds nowadays.
