Pretty much. As I said before, cartoons/live-action TV shows, etc. use dialogue like this rather often. The script is just blunt.

It was generally preferable for me when I was a child when shows/games didn't sugarcoat everything with euphemisms and respected their audience's intelligence somewhat.

Besides, after Terrorist Eggman, the Entire Shadow Saga, and 06, I doubt it. Despite how bad those games were (excluding SA2) they had some pretty "dark" themes, plus Sonic getting put down DBZ style never gets old.

I do find some lines pretty funny though.

They're worth playing, seriously. Generations is possibly my favorite 3D game in the franchise and Colors is also a really enjoyable game with an amazing soundtrack.

I'm planning to get a Wii U and I was planning to get the games on the Wii U (I think the Wii U can play Wii games). Also, it would be awesome if the 3DS version of Colors was just as good as the console version. Because then I would get it for the 3DS.

The deadly six's supposed motif (other than being neon colors and looking somewhat ridiculous) is that they are also quite edgy, although I think "darker" might be a more appropriate term.

I think they're based on stereotypical devils or imps or gremlins or what have you; they have horns, tails, and sharp teeth.

They also have a kung-fu motif going on, especially the little blue guy.

I'm planning to get a Wii U and I was planning to get the games on the Wii U (I think the Wii U can play Wii games). Also, it would be awesome if the 3DS version of Colors was just as good as the console version. Because then I would get it for the 3DS.

Colors DS sadly isn't as good as the console version (it's more enjoyable than the Rush games that came before it though) and Generations was sadly not released on Wii, but the PC/PS3/360 versions can be found for pretty cheap. If you have a capable PC, I'd recommend playing the PC version, especially for the increased framerate, resolution and mods.

The WiiU can play all Wii games though!

Darn it! Well, I'll play Colors on the Wii U, and I'll play Colors on PS3 then. I would love to play it on PC, but I need a gaming PC so that will take me about a year and a half before I'll be able to get a sufficient desktop computer.

Exactly. It's just typical villain dialogue to me. You'd hear similar in Disney films, children's cartoons, children's live-action cartoons, and not to mention that it's just E10+. I don't really see an issue here.

Compared to this, Shadow the Hedgehog was rated E10+, with cursing, character death, and some nonsense thrown in. I certainly don't expect this go to as far.

AA5's M-rating seemed to have been a consequence of using 3D models this time around as opposed to 2D drawings/sprites.

It's not factually wrong. It's an opinion. I prefer Colors DS far over Rush and Rush Adventure and I prefer Colors Wii far over Colors DS.

I will have to disagree: I prefer Rush Adventure over Sonic Colors, primarily because the former had stronger boss battles, a series of mildly interesting minigames as opposed to nothing, and was harder in general (Colors DS was really easy: I 100% it twice without much of an issue).

I can't speak for rush, but R Adventure was really good.

I haven't played R Adventure, so they probably improved the level design.

Then again, I'm the crazy person who enjoyed Heroes despite its ridiculous number of bottomless pits. That's probably the only thing that works better in 3D Sonic; you have more time to see the bottomless pit coming thanks to the camera being behind you.
