In all honest the 3g model is mostly a waste of time. You have to pay for a new data contract and there isnt much the 3g gives you. If you have a smart phone that can do tethering then it becomes completely pointless.

Being able to que downloads on the way home from PSN store or getting constant updates on what friends are doing it quite nice to have.

But that's when you can get 2,5 euro/month 100MB data packet

Oh I'm sure some people will like some of those things but if you have tethering on your phone then you can do it anyway and if not is it really worth the extra costs? I would guess for a lot of people its not. But then most things Vita seem to be kinda niche anyway.

Hehe that happened to me with P3P a couple of times. Probably because PSP games don't drain the battery as quickly, it was always surprising when I realized how much time had passed by without my realizing it. Usually the Vita's battery life is my "timer" to let me know when I've played enough for one sitting.

I know the game so well at least at the start that I can basically blast through it fairly quickly. Doing a max s. link run and already up to the first full moon event. I was sick and reloading to stay sick and finally just used the bathroom to become tired and then woke up the next day still sick. Must have reloaded 30 times until I figured that out.

One day I'll know P4G well enough to play it like that. I'd be all over it if Atlus wanted to cash grab and remake P3 for Vita.

I finally picked up Everybody's Golf today and I'm having a blast. I honestly didn't expect that I'd like a game about a sport I've never played, but this is surprisingly satisfying. However, I had to almost immediately disable the caddy voices as I found them extremely grating.

For those that have played it, which character to you prefer to play? Still trying to make sense of all the statistics they have to offer and the differences they make.

Straight shooters are my favorite. From the available straight shooters, personal favs are Amy and Xiao Ling. Ive been using Erika lately and I like her shot style much better, she's probably my next top choice once I get her loyalty maxed. None of those chars are the power hitters, but I like their accuracy and spin. You can use the higher level clubs to make your own, so go to training and try out all the different combinations to see how they all fare. Once you find "the one", others should come more easily after that.

- She's really excited for PS4, Vita keeps her connected to that at least

+Portable, she loves the form factor, more conveinient usage
+Best version of Powerstone for both of us to play together! (I got her hooked, my life is complete)
+Just out of luck, a good number of games she enjoys can be found on Vita
+Kinda same as #2 but now we both have a buddy for all the local PSP multiplayer games
- Def smaller library for her to browse from compared to PS3
- Memory Card juggling is a hassle and annoys her greatly, she doesn't want to deal with it much
- Somewhat a lil more expensive due to more full priced games

Ignore the sorcerer for a minute and the reasons for why she might look that way then see what your opinion is of everything else. You can always just not play her.

It's easy to do when not looking at the animations of a single character you aren't forced to play as in the context of everything that's going on at the same time in the game.

When you have that same Sorceress summoning undead skeletons and flinging spells, a wizard casting meteors, a Dwarf and Amazon flipping and jumping all over the place, an Archer flinging arrows everywhere and a huge dragon attacking the group, I highly doubt you're going to be paying all your attention at one character's breasts. It's missing the forest for the trees.

Very tempted at Sly 4 at the sale price, but I just feel so damn certain it will be a Plus title in a few months. It's why I still haven't got it. Got a strong feeling it will be on Plus in November when UC and GR get taken out.

Also I just tried Lego Lord of the Rings on Vita. Don't get the complaints at all. It looks fine, runs fine and is typical lego. I don't know if it has problems later on or something, but first impressions are fine.

I'm not sure but i think you can have 2 PSP/PSV systems connected to single account like with gamesharing on PS3 but i don't know how it works when both try to log into system at the same time.

No prob. Its what I plan on doing. I have no where near enough time to play a PS3 at the moment. I have a3 month old and my laptop and vita get almost all my attention. I have SR3, tomb raider and dark souls on my main PC thats hooked to my Telly and I am only baout half way through SR3 and havnt touched the others yet.

However I already own about 10 ps3 games since I started adding them to my account. Im sure down the line when I have more time I can grab a PS3 for about £100 and play through all that stuff.

Also PS4 is so close now buying a PS3 when you intend to get a PS4 in launch period seems a bit redundant.

Eh, the PS4 coming out doesn't make the PS3's library suddenly vanish, and there's still some great new PS3 games coming out soon. Plus the PS4 isn't back compatible, so it's not like buying that will let him play the PS3 library.

I just mean its price is likely to drop rapidly pretty soon after ps4 launch. That library will still be there next year. Also if you plan on getting a PS4 you will prob spend your time on that. But that also depends on your time constraints I guess.

Just tried to download Dokuro from the PSN Store. It hung up on the Preparing To Download.

I swear this happens 50% of the time when I try downloading things. Still happening to anyone else?

Mine randomly stops downloading when it goes into sleep mode. Even if I don't put it to sleep manually and even if it's connected to the charger. IIRC some people have this problem since launch. Shouldn't this be fixed already?

Do you have wifi power save mode on? I turn mine off when im downloading something and it carries on fine. If its on and goes to sleep after a while the wifi drops.

Its funny how you're both right about this. Ill be sticking with my PS3 during launch year as I don't see much reason to upgrade besides staying up to date.

What's good is that PS3 is going to live up to its planned 10 year life cycle and more. Plenty of a titles I haven't finished yet and even more coming down the road. With a little bit of critical thinking, I believe the PS3 is the better investment compared to the looming PS4 sheerly due to titles available. While there will be some killer games for PS4, majority of titles will be available on PS3 because of that immense userbase. Its gonna take 2 years or 3 for the full next gen transition to take effect.

Now the ultimate question is when to get a PS3? Right now, secondhand is pretty cheap right now but imagine how much cheaper it'd be after PS4 launches

There will probably be a price drop at Gamescom. If there isn't a price drop at Gamescom then you should expect one closer to the holidays.

Welcome Why don't you check eBay for a good deal? I got my Vita two weeks ago for 190€ with a 16GB card, hardcase and 6 games.

Not Thomas, the gameplay is simpler than Dokuro. I haven't played Stealth Bastard so can't comment on it.
