Funny how a HD collection is my most anticipated game of the year. Then again, FFX is in my top 5 games of all time.

Absolutely hyped for the trophy hunting.

I did mean XIII, but XII has a really strong score. Sakimoto should be scoring films. He does ambience and whimsy really well and his epic pieces always fit the scale of the world and the stakes, whether FFXII or Valkyria Chronicles or whatever. He's super underrated.

I actually seem to recall something about an always accessible strategy guide, but I guess that'd only cut into their strategy guide sales... unless they made that an add-on. Now that I think about it I sort of wonder why more DON'T do that, you could even argue EarthBound just did that albeit as a mandatory bundle at $2 more than a normal SNES game. Maybe with the OS features of PS4 and XB1 we'll actually see it?

Well, I know there's Prima guides on Steam, but I don't know exactly how those work.

Agreed... the KH 1.5 songs that I just listened to didn't sound as good as the original ones :( Now I'm worried.

The menu interface has been dramatically improved. I just hope the arrangements to the music don't ruin the original feel.

I'm prepared to dodge 200 Lightning bolts AND get under 0 seconds in chocobo racing again!

They better not fuck up Wandering Flame. Best song from the game IMO.

With FFIV Complete Collection they gave us the choice of Arranged or Original, hopefully they'll do the same for this release.

My first encounter with a dark aeon was hilarious... I had no idea they even existed and I was roaming around in Thunder Plains doing something random. That's when I saw this guy standing near my save point...

"Wtf?"

I was positive that this man wasn't standing here before (I had been spending over 200 hours grinding in Thunder Plains... don't ask me why). I speak to him, boom - Dark Shiva. How did the encounter go? Well... her 255 Agility dominated all of my characters and she killed every single one of my characters without me even doing one command :lol Loved it. As a kid, I thought I had found a glitch because of how impossible that felt.

My first encounter was with dark Magus sisters.
Thought id counter them with my own.

Died.

I was after Aurons final overdrive and went back to besaid following an american guide.
didn't mention dark valefor.
He fucked me up too.
Went back and sliced him in half with yojimbo and a shit load of money.
Was worth it, Aurons final overdirve is amazing.

Exact same thing with me, except I never beat him...
Never got Auron's final overdrive. ;_;

It's strange to think I've played FFX for hundreds of hours but there's still a load of content I've never seen or experienced.

I had three near the end save files and yet never completed the main game. Easily 100 hours and the only time I've seen the end was on YouTube.

FFX music is great as it is, it doesn't any arranging... I just want an authentic as possible experience to FFX.

I can't imagine them touching the soundtrack side of X-2 with a 50 foot pole (and no, they can't use Kumi's version of Real Emotion or 100 Words) but if they did, I'd really like them to add some of the piano arrangements in.

I almost forgot how bad the menus for X were.

I want to see what they will do with KH 2 soundtrack. There are some tracks with really annoying instruments, I remember that some songs was way better on RE:CoM than in KH2.

It's on the character album that each girl got! Yuna's includes vocal versions of Eternity: memories of Lightwaves and Yuna's Ballad (called Kimi he), While Rikku and Paine's include vocal versions of their own theme tracks and an original song.

Now that I think of it, X had a pretty cool vocal album too.

New menus look great! Like someone mentioned earlier, To Zanarkand is perfect the way it is, hopefully they don't meddle too much with it.

There has to be a troll bronze trophy for trying to use Yojimbo's Zanmato against Dark Aeons/Penance.

Something like "Sorry, but no".

I cannot wait to see all those angry posts about blitzball,thunder dodgaloo,butterflies and chocobo negative time race.
