after reading all of what GopherD, Famousmortimer, and Verendus have been saying in this thread, i'm not really worried about software support for PS4/Vita anymore. my concern is more of 'what happened to all those Feb event features?'
if i could ask them:
-will a LIVE demo of legit Vita-PS4 remote play be at GC?
-will they show us how the PS store game prediction/autodownload feature works when recommending games?
-will they show us how to replace the HDD?
-are we going to get a full walkthrough of the OS? (even if with the press after the keynote)
-will they show the mobile app? date it?
-will they show us the social features like spectators dropping in items?
-will the streaming features be day-one with video sharing, or is that a gakai technology?
the reason i'm concerned is that sony seems to have a habit of showing us a lot of possibilities, and then not delivering them at launch, and just kind of spreading them out little by little over a long period of time. i'd like as much of what we saw in Feb to be there on launch day as possible.
hopefully during gamescom, via web articles and hands-on videos. I don't expect much of that on stage - too much opportunity for demo fuck ups (also pretty dull to take up stage time)
