is vita version going to target 60fps?
Knowing one of the devs at least, I'd say they'd get it running 60fps on a pocket calculator if that was a release platform.

not sure why they chose that character design
slap
paintinator from the MGS DLC
that timer box-bomb from LBP1
grappling hook for quick movement to and away, or pulling enemies to thin the herd
Responsibility for the character designs is all on me! I'm sorry to hear you're not keen for them, although If it's any consolation the big heads make it easier to keep track of your character during gameplay.

The design sketches are cool.

oh wow, that was great, I like the 2d art a lot more than the final 3d model.
is the game are going to have any kind of cutscenes where you'll see the 3d character model fully? if not, I think using 2d art for your game cover could be cool.

The plan is to bookend the game with an animated intro and outro... although when a get a chance I want to do some proper illustrations of the characters that I'm hoping will be useful for marketing material so it might end up making sense for the cover!
Another awesome Vita game I must own. Very nice that it'll be a cross buy too. Here this thread needs some gifs:
It looks fun but I think they screwed up the art style royally. Thank god it's a top down shooter.
Very interested in this, it looks heaps fun! Didn't know this was playable at PAX Aus, damn. Please tell me the in-game soundtrack will be similar to that trailer. =o
*BrofistMan, they HAVE to do Dead Nation 2.
I'd buy that for a dollar!Looks like maybe it will have 4 player couch co-op SmashTV style play?
It is trailer music and ost are both done by Jeff van dyck who is a super talented composer going all the way back to his work on the first need for speed game. In-game the music is actually dynamic with multiple layers depending on a calculated "intensity" meter, so if you're crushing it or the screen is filling up it will sound more rich and intense.
Yup. Here is a 60fps version of the trailer

Awesome to see devs in the thread. Day one just because of that lol. I don't really see a problem in the character designs and the levels/arena designs are awesome. How does the interactive decor works? I mean, how can we know which part is gonna disappear and stuff? Is there I.dedication somewhere that the tiles are gonna move? Can't really figure it out in the trailer. Seems random.. Anyway, keep up the great work, if you guys need any video editing help or something I'd be happy to help for free.. Been doing the dudebro trailers and other stuff
It really does look like a lot of fun. I actually really dig the art style, it's charming. Holly is my favorite out of the four, I think. Definitely going to keep an eye out.
I would pay $3 for Sackboy DLC character.
MAKE IT HAPPEN GUYS.
