These are great! Can you let us in on your process? The first two are outstanding! The first one i get a deep sea fish vibe. And the second one I see Jupiter and stuff.

I shot about 30 minutes of video for this and fired off stills whenever an interesting pattern emerged.

Shots 1 and 3 I put into negative and got quite lucky with the results :D

And also my friend asked me to shoot some portraits for her. I've never done an actual "shoot" and was pretty much out of my element. Most of what I take are street shots. This is probably my favorite pic of the bunch, though I think I took a few decent ones. Helps that she is gorgeous.

Yeah, only reason I ask is that one of my extremely average Instagram shots made it to Popular last week. I was slightly annoyed it got showcased because I don't think it's close to being my best photo, but meh. People seemed to like it.

And I was doubly surprised because I'm a very green and inexperienced enthusiast who has a lot to learn.

Had a mini vacation but didn't take a lot of shots. This cat showed up to hang out with us when we were next to the hotel pool.

Hey Photog gaf, I'm putting up some of my photos up at a local coffee shop. Theres two big walls about 20 feet long on the first floor and a smaller space up stairs to put up some more. I'm doing mostly black and white photos from medium format negatives. I have about 7 on 8x10 paper and 3 on 11x14 paper. Was wondering if anyone else has had a show, and was also thinking if it was okay to throw in some from 35mm negatives or even a small set of iphone photos in another or should it all be consistent?

no one is going to be able to tell, except other very technical photogs and they arent going to buy it anyway.

I do shows frequently, and you'd be surprised at what some photographers pass off as photography, even from a technical standpoint, and people buy it likely cause it speaks to them.

if you feel allt he work fits together, go for it.

Nice, just got myself a Mamiya M645 which is very similar. They weigh a ton!

Just got my holiday pics back from the lab, so begins the long slog of scanning!

Yeah I'm looking for a very wide strap to use with it :) I'm hoping to start processing my own black and whites now I have seen the cost of getting 120 done.

Can anyone help with me some image correction? There was a red light off-frame (at the bottom) that is bouncing off my subjects chin. I need help removing that red glow. Please PM me

hey, these first two are fantastic, probably some of my favorites you've ever posted.

I want to add nude models to some of my landscapes in a similar fashion, as im not to keen on shots of models just to show a model. As your probably not to interested in just landscapes.

But combine a beautiful naked woman with a beautiful landscape....
Probably cant get away with it by my fiancé though.

Thanks. Mixing nudes/landscapes is new to me. Where I live it is very crowded and it is hard to find places to shoot nudes outdoors without getting in trouble. The beach in the photos is about 3 hours south of me. We had two couples walk by while strolling up the beach that didn't care. Some police helicopter kept flying by throughout the day, getting closer and closer each pass. I think they were just trying to look :p
