That looks really cool. I like how seamless it is going from forest to town to forest again and no shitty loading doors.

I love how the Igni sign is used for the quest and it wasn't a contextual based thing, all player controlled.

Combat looks improved over TW2 but still petty similar. Will need to see more but the magic looks a LOT more satisfying to use. It had a nice visual effect to it and I like how the Igni sign actually burnt the grass around him when he held it down

And this is why they don't show off this footage to the rest of the world and have to get by with leaky vids. People don't understand what pre-alpha means.

Don't wander into any next-gen game thread of a game like Ryse and the like....means nothing there.

It seems that I've missed fellow GAFfers but either way, thank you for posting it OP.

I'm really curious about this game. I want to sit back and relax with The Witcher 3. Hoping for an amazing Soundtrack again to let myself enjoy this fine experience.

I'm sorry fellow GAFfer but.. You could already see the quality of this game on this ultra bad quality video from a product that is not even finished? I find that a bit strange.

I have The Witcher 1 & 2 On PC and also finished TW2 on the 360 but there's no way I could check the quality of the game in this video, I'm sorry.
 
If you believe that, then I have some land in Warsaw to sell you.

Besides the obvious differences like resolution and framerate, I'd imagine things like higher resolution textures will be available to the PC version.

I doubt anything else will get a pass on the Xbone/PS4 versions. I expect the same amount of stuff onscreen, same particle effects, same physics in the environment, etc.

That is not how the shadows look in TW2, that is likely a downsampled shot and thus it hides the screen space stipple the shadows have.

Yeah I really hated how towards the edge of the shadow they looked pixelated, I would have killed for an option to just turn shadows off but NOPE CDPR SAYS IT'S GOTTA BE ON BECAUSE GAME HAS TO BE PRETTY!

Probably not, nor should they be aiming for that. The Witcher 3 simply does not "need" to be 1080p/60fps on the PS4. 1080p/30fps is exactly what they should want on the consoles to maximize visual awesomeness.

60 fps > graphics anyday

Thankfully I play on PC.

Absolutely hate the running animation. Doesnt look like he's attached/connected to the ground in any sort of convincing way. His movement speed is too fast for the actual running animation.

I'll take a guess and say it's because it's still in alpha/beta stage, so they just copied the animation from The Witcher 2 but made it faster since it's an open world game, but still didn't have time to adjust the animations properly.

Or maybe they'll slow him down to match the animations.
