Anyone wanna list out awesome duels from the original yugioh so I can go back and watch them. I have an itch for awesome for some reason.

Oh I forgot the Yugi vs Jono-Uchi battle where Jono-Uchi was possesed or some shit, and Yugi had to save Anzu.
I also remember that the Magic cards could directly hurt the duelists during this battle, so Jono-Uchi used a ton of these cards. It was crazy.

IIRC it had the greatest troll debut also where it was summoned by the opponent but they didn't know the incantation so Marik gained control of it after saying it LOL

Can people stop pretending fma had a good ending(nothing fma related has ever had a good ending),I really like fma as much as you guys but it ended like some bad generic low tier shounen ending something similar to a bad fairy tail arc ending, infact law of yuki had a very similar shitty ending before fma did.

Bad villian guy absorbs god, now it's up the protag to fight him one on one with the power of shounen yelling bullshit(NANI baka na) while everyone stands around on the side lines cheering when they should be joining in to help,rush,curbstomp the mothafucker(exact same shit happened in law of yuki and probably many absorbing god bullshit trope video game jrpg ending).

-Just let you guys know I don't think it needed a any deaths or cheap deaths or had any problems with the greed thing so I don't agree with phoviking on that, but the ending wasn't good.

Dragon ball z at least ended right with the great mister satan saving the world the people of earths help even know the buu arc wasn't as good as the fma war arc it had a much better ending.

If hunterxhunter or one piece ever had such a lame ending like fma then I would hand in my manga jacket forever giving up on manga/anime never to speak of the mediums existence.

Bleach is about as deep as Evangelion which is as deep as puddle of piss, wait scratched that it's at least a little more intelligent that that filth eva, so I would say instead it's about as deep as a bucket.

I think I can see where this arc and the current saga are going now.

Always nice to see Oda focus on one plot thread in a chapter. Really helps to move things forward.

Duelist Kingdom > Battle City any day of the week. The total lawlessness is great. And the rules they put in for Battle City are just enough for you to call bullshit on these guys having any skills (ie, why the fuck are they playing such terrible cards?)

I like how they occasionally tease Eiichiro playing against Natsu in practice, but its clearly not going to actually happen for obvious reasons.

Time to catch up, I'm behind by like 7 chapters.

Walking around and a Duel starts out of fucking nowhere > some castle.

really made Battle City fucking awesome to me (I can vaguely recall a Tag team battle on the top of a skyscraper which had a glass floor and whichever team loses their section gave way or maybe i'm misremembering) .

Ah yes, Yugi and Kaiba versus those masked bros. Good times. Yugi's match with Arcana was good too with the concept of sawing off the ankles, and his other match with that mime dude by the river. That shit was hype.

I wonder how many months attack on titan will keep charting here in the us.

Attack on Titan Vol. 1 is at #2 in August, behind only the mighty Naruto (Vol. 62), with Vol. 2 at #10. The title started its move at the beginning of the summer. Volume 1 was at #19 in June and moved up to #12 in July. In perhaps the most bullish indicator for the future of this series, there are now six volumes out, but Vol. 1 is charting the best, indicating that most purchasers are just beginning to buy the series. August was the first monthly release, with Vol. 6 (see "'Attack on Titan' Goes Monthly").

There&#8217;s a huge disparity on Attack on Titan sales between the bookstore and comic store channels, most likely due to differences in breadth of distribution (i.e., comic stores aren&#8217;t ordering it). Compare the Top 20 run of the title through the summer in bookstores with the sales in the comic store market, where Vol. 5 was #297 in June with only 330 copies sold, barely making the Top 300 list

Anyone remember Atem and Kaiba's last duel at the end of Battle city?

God I still remember wondering wtf happened when Atem used Kaiba's Flute of Summoning Dragon to summon Red Eyes on his side then the Buster Blader fusion with Dark Magician. Dark Paladin was fucking amazing.

Also you cannot forget to list Atem vs Yugi, best duel of the century after Yusei vs Jack.

Also Atem and Joey vs the Paradox brothers.

For what behavior, exactly? You're the only one who ever freaks out over my opinions. I don't go out of my way to insult everyone who has a different opinion to mine (unless it's Beam, cause all he does is post stuff to be a blight on an otherwise decent board). I've had sound and logical explanations for my opinions, which is all I'd require from anyone else on this board; otherwise, if you don't, you're just telling people that you like something. "Oh I like Bleach." "Really? Me too!" that's not a discussion, that's a confirmation that you have an opinion which imo goes on way too much here because people are afraid to voice their opinion without someone like Beam to get mad about it.

I'm not sure how I forgot the final duel of the series in my list, either it or yugi vs kaiba battle city finals is the best in the original series.

As this is a manga thread I did list duels that are only in both the original manga and the main anime adaption (season zero is pretty awesome though). If I start posting filler duels or duels from GX, 5Ds, or ZeXal I'll be here all day listing awesome duels. I've also not read enough of the spin of manga for the later 3 YGO series to form an opinion on them or their duels.

My holy grail of a manga find would be raws or scanlations of the original Duel Masters manga, which had the characters playing Magic the Gathering

Followed closely by a continuation of that K-ON doujin that was the girls learning how to play Magic

I never really enjoyed Magic as a card game, the whole idea of tapping land cards to get spells/monsters on the field just didn't click with me. I always liked YGO better because 90% of the cards in your deck you could play the moment you drew them. YGO is also a faster game then Magic which made it a perfect on the go game.
