Amazon emailed me today.. everything is now coming Nov 22 by 8pm it says. Same with my games I ordered. Except COD. That says it's coming on the 5th.

No. For release date delivery, you have to select two-day shipping, which is only free if you have Amazon Prime. Otherwise it'll take 5-7 days.

First I'd like to say that because of your username I am now listening to Feel Good Inc. Secondly, I think that if we were able to meet Larry in person, he wouldn't turn out to be the douche that a lot of people think he is. Seeing him in a few videos where he is most likely tired as balls from doing press stuff all day and making an opinion based on that probably isn't the best way to judge him. I have to get to know someone face to face before I pass judgment on them. Unless they're Hitler because Hitler was a douche.

well we all know what happens when pr guys show up and talk. sony has been smart enough this generation (for the most part) to not allow things to be said that might end up as foot in mouth statements.
unfortunately for us news mongers, sony isn't really in a position where they absolutely need to put all their cards on the table. would be nice to see more of the OS from both sides. but there is still two and a half months until launch. i'm sure things will be ramping up soon enough.

I would love to hear someone from sony to come here and discuss the ram dedicated for games and for their operating system... buying both btw.. xbone first cause i like football

jstevenson is the best by far. I met him at the Resistance 2 launch at the Metreon and he was super nice, plus he really does try to answer fans questions in the threads he posts in.

Strange, usually they won't charge you until they are ready to ship. That has always been the policy for Amazon. Wonder why the service rep didn't know that.

I think the issue there is that they don't know when they will ship it out for release date delivery. Sometimes they overnight, sometimes they send it ground with a sticker not to deliver, etc.

So did ms ever show the headset adapter you may need to use old headsets? Like if I want to continue using my X12s? i really do want to keep using them.
So I was wondering if anyone could help me out with a problem. I live in Holland and as you know Microsoft decided not to launch the Xbox One in my region. Instead of waiting an extra 3 to 4 months, which I'm really not capable of, I decided I want to import one from like Germany or the UK. I've seen Microsoft say they are fully supporting importing an Xbox One if you'd like. I know I can buy a disc based game anywhere and play it on every Xbox One around the world, great news. There is however, still some confusion about the usage of Xbox Live, and was wondering if someone has a straight answer for me.
I've read through the FAQ about importing Microsoft released but I'm still not 100% sure. I tried contacting Xbox Support on twitter for this matter but they are really trying not to sell me an Xbox One I guess. They're basicly saying: "we recommend you not to import the Xbox One". So here is the deal: I don't mind not using Xbox Live up until Xbox One is available in Holland, I just want to be sure I can use it 100% the same as any other person once it is available.
So say I buy one in Germany, pick the German Xbox Live region and all is fine. I need a German adress and billing stuff to buy any content, that I'm aware of. But, can I switch to the Dutch Xbox Live region once it's available here in Holland, and use it the same as an Xbox One bought in Holland? That's all I need to know.

Do you have an account currently on Xbox 360? If so you can use that once Live access will be made available in your region or create a new account using Holland/Netherlands as your region.
Keep in mind though that some content/services/apps could be region locked when accessing the German marketplace outside of Germany.

I've been using the same account on Xbox 360 for 7 years now, and would like to carry this over to Xbox One. So I can transfer my old account to Xbox One, but can't use Xbox Live up until Xbox One is released in Holland? If I wanted to I have to make a new account and choose a different region that is available? I don't really mind not using Live until Xbox One launches in Holland 'cause I'm mainly playing singleplayer, but I could create a seperate account just to download demo's or something?
Well we don't know how it is going to work. If it works the same as it does on 360 today then you will be greeted with a message saying "Xbox Live is not available in your region" message on the dashboard.
Guess you will just have to wait and see. I mean just try it out once the system is released. Worst thing that can happen is that you need to create a new German account and wait until it gets released in your country.

I thought you could use XBL anyway, as long as your locale is set as England or another country Xbone is launching ( I'm Dutch too ). I don't know what will happen to DLC as you switch your locale though. I ordered the Xbone with the downloadble version of Forza 5 on amazon.uk, but I don''t know if certain DLC is tied to a specific country. Would suck to lose all my stuff switching back to my Dutch account.
