3 new Wii U bundles coming to EU (1 Premium, 2 Basic), no set prices again

Nintendo has announced three new Wii U hardware bundles to launch in time for Christmas.

First up is the Mario & Luigi Premium Pack, due out on 8th November. This includes New Super Mario Bros. U and New Super Luigi U packaged as a "2 in 1" disc alongside a black premium Wii U console with 32GB of storage, plus a black Wii U GamePad.

Then, on 15th November, the family-focused Wii Party U Basic Pack will release. This includes a white Wii U console with 8GB of storage, a white Wii U GamePad and Wii Remote Plus, Sensor Bar and disc versions of Wii Party U (itself is due out on 25th October) and Nintendo Land.

And finally, on 22nd November, Nintendo will launch the Just Dance 2014 Basic Pack bundle. This includes a white Wii U console with 8GB of storage, a white Wii U GamePad and Wii Remote Plus controller, Sensor Bar and disc versions of Just Dance 2014 and Nintendo Land.

Nintendo doesn't set recommended retail prices of its products in Europe, so we'll have to wait for shops to update their store fronts to find out how much these bundles will cost.

Okay, the last two look like shit. I can easily see them bombing. They just seem totally unable to understand what the audience that's buying their WiiUs is.
And it's mostly the Gamecube's, Nintendo.

Dumping the last of the 8 gig units on family bundles? Of those listed, only the NSMBU package is even a little attractive to me. Unfortunately for me they're doing this around the PS4 launch, so nooooope. My money is currently tied-up elsewhere. I will hold out hope for a red Mario 3D bundle later.

If they get Ubi to advertise Just Dance 2014 just using the WiiU logo like Microsoft did with CoD, this could be significant. Just dance has been huge en Europe. I don't know if it can sell systems but it's worth a try specially in the situation Nintendo's console is facing.

the ads for just dance just show the wii and wii u versions

That basic pack with Wii Party U is looking pretty good to me. I don't know why people are bashing the 8gb model. If you are an avid gamer you would eventually buy an HDD either way, so why not get a cheaper WiiU? Because it is white?

Also, that NSMBU pack is not that good, with no WiiMote and no Nintendoland.

Note: It's Just Dance 2014 (which is technically Just Dance 5)

the fact that the Mario + Luigi games come in a disc makes it a million times more appealing.

Any nintendo bundle that sells my a DD game is non-existant for me

this is the best deal. you get both controllers the wii motion+ and Wiipad. Just dance looks decent, but Nintendoland is the go to game. in this bundle all the Nintendoland attractions can be played. lungi mansion and Legend of Zelda coop

A wonderful 101 pack would have been appreciated, though. :p

This is the absolute must have package. I'd love to see a wonderfully colored WiiU system boxart so lovingly rendered instead of the boring old black packaging they use for the Premiums set. Not to mention this game...It simply needs more love.

I din't know they were already doing what I said, haven't seen those ads here on Spain. I'm really curious if they will help WiiU or just make Wii revive one more Holiday season.

Super Plays. It's definitely not gonna be trailers. They'd put those in all the bundles otherwise. Or on their games in general.

not news at all. it is like then since ...maybe the 3ds launch?
btw we can easily know the prices of their products (comparing them with US or waiting for Amazon once they are availabe - before launch prices are too floaty)

Packshots are pretty good.
Well, these seem to be the European edition of the Japanese value packs. Nintendo is really going in with bundling 2 games even with the system; certainly, they're an answer to an horrifying situation, and hopefully they'll help.
