I know you guys are such "super hardcore oldschool legit from back in the days, yo i played this all the time for real" fans of Killer Instinct, but the art of the joystick in the original is a straight mashup of the art of the original control panel of the arcade games...

Yes, but PS4 allows previous gen usb devices. The open nature of it and all.
So - and sorry if I'm being dense here - my Tekken 6 Hori stick will work with PS4?

Too much shit happening. Is like the 90's are back. Simple is better. And plus, it throws of the design of the console as well.

Yeah bad art aside, they seem to keep adding more and more angles and ridges to their cases and they're starting to look tacky and cheap.

The SxT VS style stick isn't too bad but the silver studs make it look goofy for different reasons.

So, it has an unscrewable Plug, eh? That sounds very convenient for carrying it around. And good for the health of the cord too, I'd wager, since it can be stored within it.

Is it able to be used wirelessly too? I see somethings that could say "yes", but not sure.

The Madcats page isn't showing right for me, so excuse me if the question is answered there! :)

As much as people claim to love KI 1 and 2's horrible-for-modern-day CGs, I think the Stick art looks nice, given the history of the brand. I still prefer in game backgrounds or hand-drawn artwork personally, but the KI cabinet look is a nice compromise.

I can answer questions about this thing now, but yeah, that info is out there.

Let's get next gen going. :)

Yes, this is a prototype. Please note that it is not the final version.

The artwork looks a bit washed out but I assure you it looks better/pops better in person. Looks like they didn't take off the thin layer of protective plastic cover off the top panel so it looks washed out, color wise.

You have to understand when working on a licensed project with other IPs that we don't own... we have less say on the artwork and assets given to us. With TTT2 we were given freedom to do whatever and they liked what we put together. Some other companies give a more direct/hands on approach with things.

Let me know how the Hori stick works on Xbox One.

Just like my 3 Madcatz PS3 Sticks on my PS4 right Mark?

Whos blocking this? MC or Sony? i dont think it would be Sony considering all their peripherals are PS4 ready.

I like the things built in to allow for a shoulder strap (that's what that is, right?). That's pretty darn cool.

Yeah, or if you want to hang stuff from it you can do that too...

Markman will you guys be making an arcade stick for the Mad Catz Mojo?

No need to as it will support USB input devices and is open source. You can most likely use almost any USB controller (including sticks) on it.

I believe that's what these sticks start at. Either way, it's the type of stick that'll last a long-ass time.

Any word on PC compatibility?
LMAO.......um no.

Qanba's standard Q4RAF Black(360, PS3, PC) is around $150 with the same Sanwa parts.
When next-gen is in full swing next year and they start offering (Xbone/PS4/PC) sticks for around the same price, this Mad Catz offering looks way overpriced.

Just saying.

Just pre-ordered this from Gamestop cause KI looks like the best launch game on Xbone.

2 questions if anyone knows-

1-Will this also work on PC?

2-When is the actual release date for this? Amazon says Nov 22nd, Gamestop says Dec 3rd, but the GS guy told me he thinks its day one on Xbone Launch day?

So did anyone get the fightstick?

My GS pre order didn't show up and Amazon lists the Madkatz stick for Dec 12th now.

Somebody's learned from Hori! Wow, a detachable cable, which means that if your cable fails you can just get a new one.

Not even sure why they're bothering, KI looks awful for competitive play, and any other situation just use a controller

Nah fuck that. I simply REFUSE to do fighters without a stick.

Now for me, that means waiting for a PCB mod for my two TE's that I already have. I'm not dropping $200 on a new stick when my TE's are brand new, but for now I have no choice but to wait and play with a controller. But really, sticks are the best way to play fighters for most of us whether a game is competitively viable or not.

Any game playable with a dpad and no analog can probably be done better on arcade stick.

Except menu-based RPGs, of course.

Hopefully, soon we'll have a proper tutorial for Dual mods or at least more info on the One pads.
