What if there are no adaptors for headsets and people with fancy ones have to throw them away and buy new ones?
This is probably a bad first post, but this is like the second or third person I've read on this topic say something similar. This is in no way meant to belittle or insult in anyway. It is simply some random information. In this day and age there is no reason to have two completely separate models for equipment changes. Even basic game engines are able to attach models to other models.
The animation is what I believe to be the culprit in this case. It seems, in my opinion, that he was meant to slam his helmet down to exemplify some kind of emotion, thus his head jerking forward. However, due to the "soulless" face, this effect may have been lost. This could also be due to a random hiccup in the workload causing it to skip frames. This being an early product, in game demo, and possibly running on a PC with unknown background processes, I'd say this isn't completely out of the question.

If it is just about the adapter and them saying it won't be available at launch that wouldn't be any sort of surprise because they never said there would be one available at launch.

Also they aren't showing any of that on these tours. The UI isn't even really functional on those boxes: They tell everyone to not touch the Guide button.

I did trapse through the menus: Pretty much anything that would have been interesting was either non-functional (didn't open) or was marked as "coming soon" (Store, for example).

I'd imagine the lean mechanics are on the shoulder buttons if you don't want to use Kinect? Perhaps the could eventually use that feature for the American elections! A shrug would be a 'no vote'. Which way would you lean?

Leaning was completely useless and heavily interfered with precise aiming. I don't think there is any non-Kinect equivalent to this feature.

i'd say Killzone is something to write home about. it looks pretty damn decent.
overally, i still stand by not fully judging at launch. if we did that, we'd still have games looking like CoD2 which did look great at launch.

From a practical perspective it is never going to work. It's hard enough aiming accurately without throwing in the disorientating concept of angled views. There are too many bullet points for Kinect and not enough justifications, but that unquantifiable 'potential' will once again become the driving force.

Same for me in the Philly thing. It technically -worked-, but a lot of stuff just wasn't happening.
Makes sense though; if they did that, people would've been futzing with the menus instead of playing the games.

A link would help, considering that other thread hasn't been staying on the first page. But strangely just about everyone else who said the same thing also neglected to include a link. At this point, this *is* the thread where all the demo impressions could go since it's drawn more attention and nobody seems to care to actually provide a link to the other thread.
Its only really gained the most traction because the OPs impressions were decidely negative towards the Xbox One and the title itself made that very clear.
Don't get me wrong, he had a great write up. The idea of it being negative though is drawing the most attention.

There is the headset adapter, but people are saying that was never promised at launch. Gotta be the Play and Charge Kit. Won't affect everyone since AA batteries are included in the box, which is in line with Juanchos hints. If that IS the news, that's not bad news considering how many people use rechargeable AAs.

Anyone should be allowed to give impressions on a product. Bias will exist in some form or the other anyway. It's up to the readers to take it or leave it.
This is what worries me more. There is a palpable sense of schadenfreude in some of the comments. I can't imagine people being that way in life outside the internet.

Knack? ehh, well the jury is still out on that one, but for Killzone it's a helluva leap for me.
With how quickly it came and went without being advertised as a sale, the Play & Charge and Controller bundle being the same price as a single Controller most likely was a simple pricing error.
