Nah, can see an argument for both. They are exceptional looking games no matter how you slice it.
I am hoping that there is some gameplay mechanics that are being kept secret. I have just watched the tgs demo and although it looks pretty it doesn't seem that the games is bringing anything really new to the table. The owl looks cool but is that the main differentiation between this and other FPS that are on the market?

Both look great, but Shadowfall has the edge, also it manages to run in 1080p for better IQ, oh also the multiplayer is 60fps, It's clear which is the most impressive, but Ryse still looks good, I think Ryse will be the best looking XB1 game until Halo (5?)
KZ2 hype was off the charts for me... So was UC2's. Those two games were the ones that hyped me the most this gen.
In retrospect, when Sony released that first KZ2 cut-scene mimicking the target render I remember being very fucking excited at what I was watching.

Great job GG! Looking forward to this. Haven't decided if this or Knack will be the first PS4 titles I load up. Or I may go straight to Resogun and/or Contrast. Who knows!

That game and the FF13Versus trailer got me so excited for the upcoming generation at the time, they blew me away.

I'm withholding judgement on both until I see them first hand, on my TV, at normal viewing distance, with their final AA solutions applied. It's never quite how it seems in internet videos and images.
Either way, what I love most about Killzone and Ryse is that they represent the starting point, they are the Kameo and Resistance of next gen, and things got a whole lot prettier from those games.

I think Gold means that their initial development on the game has ended and it's now being sent to be pressed onto discs, yeah. Obviously there'll be patches incoming and whatnot, and I'm sure a large part of the team will continue to work on it for a few months yet.

I wanted Resogun to be the first next gen game I play... but knowing me I'll be really impatient waiting for it to download and stick in Killzone instead. Looks mighty fine, lets hope that last quality push fixed those little outstanding issues (*cough*rain*cough)

I can't decide rather to play Warframe, Killzone, BF4 or Resogun first. Plus not too mention DCUO, Blacklight, Contrast etc.
I have a good idea which one I'll be playing first depends on what my brother wants to do.

I get mine on the 15th and i cant stand not getting it on midnight of the 14th.. So much so i, going to a big midnight launch party in midtown just to pick up some games and join in in the atmosphere hype.
