He won't though, check his Steam profile. And this http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=83650141&postcount=6217 and that http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=83638841&postcount=6123 I put him on my perma-blocklist, DP couldn't have ended up in much worse hands.

Ouch. I think I remember this conversation some time ago, that's a shame indeed... :/

Deadly Premonition could be a great game to be played in the Halloween Holiday, too bad.

I am happy now :)

Then I'm happy too!

New games will be added to the Humble Android 7 bundle in 3 hours, normally.

Greenmangaming added a FEAR Pack for 75% off for all 5 games.
Getgamesgo added a Warhammer 40K sale, 75% off the Dawn of War games and Space Marine.

New thread!

I'm playing a different game every 5 minutes. I don't think I'll ever finish any of them.

I have 62 games installed :lol

Serious Sam is a wicked gahbidge series for chowdaheads.
Let's start this thread off right:

I am having a hard time determining if Lost Planet 2 is better or worse than Borderlands 2 and Serious Sam. Either way, I can confirm that the game is pure garbage.

Uber jealous of that DP giveaway, wish I heard about it, need to buy that and Rocksmith 2014 but not sure if I can afford it since my only form of money is my student loan.

Of all the people to give Lost Planet 2 the time of day you are by far the most unexpected. At least with Borderlands you have an idea of what your goal is or the outline of a plot regardless if you give a shit or not. I don't even know what is going on in Lost Planet 2.

I said damn :(

Why is the Steam logo raping the falling guy?

well, that wasn't intended, but now when you pointed this out, I can't unsee. (><)
I'll fix it, some other day.

No health regen and the games are very hectic in places, where reflexes are more important than finding cover. Makes them more old-school than Halo & COD anyway.

But then they lack the level and encounter design those I mentioned had. In these games you move from arena to arena, from wave to wave and that's it. It's pretty braindead in that regard. There's just no intricacy in them.

It's good that Hard Reset and Bulletstorm devs think they're oldschool, but imo they're selling the genre a bit short. It's not like I can't enjoy them, I mean I liked Infinite which was more closer to these and Bulletstorm was also good.

That Ferrari game game isn't so good.
Cars are very pretty, but the handling is twitchy like Shift 2 and the career mode blows syphilitic goats.

I found the first race of the "modern" series to be absolutely impossible. I'm supposed to pass 7 cars in 3 laps. Most races I only see the other racers at the very start of the race and only managed to pass one *once* when he collided with another racer. This was on easy mode and I play a decent amount of racing games.

My 2 year old son liked it though. His review: "CAR! CAR!"

DMC is a ton of fun, so glad I picked it up. And man those DMC cards are selling high. To craft a badge or make a couple bucks...?

Jesus what a stupid dilemma. Need my pieces of flair.

Sell cards now, buy 2-3x as many later when they're cheaper.

Such a classy OT, Monsieur Orange - as always. Very sharp.

Looking forward to sharing the highs, the lows, and the surprises with you fine people of SteamGAF for another 20,000 posts - may it bring a bunch of sales, much friendly banter, and many Saoirse avatars.

It's tough.

Lost Planet 2 at least had the decency to let me skip over its story billshit, so that is certainly better than Borderlands 2. I think overall the boss fights were better than Serious Sam's.

But by the end of the game I started questioning if I ever liked a game by Capcom. Like, it's so bad I may have to start retroactively hating Resident Evil 4 because of it.
