yep. even IF it's at 720p, it's going to look a lot better than the 360 version, even IF it's one of the ugliest launch titles on the Xbox One.
those IGN videos are doing them way more harm than the 720p rumour. those shittily compressed 30 fps videos.

basically they used a source from back in June to state that it is 1080p and then later tried to back it up by saying that from a interview by IW back in August that the game is very detailed....

Its easier on people if they just consider him some random-fly-by poster that seemingly doesn't get banned by NeoGaf's rules of rumor/fud/debunking. Also, its easy to forget his track record too on the Xbone. Helps people sleep.

as we have pointed out to everyone who brought that article up... nowhere in that article is there a direct quote from Infinity Ward stating that the Xbox One version of Ghosts is in 1080p, despite the article claiming that it was something Infinity Ward said.

No I read the article, it clearly states that the game runs at 60 fps at 1080p..the thread title is great though for sure

A thread whose main point is to say that CoD:Ghosts will look better on Xbox One than on 360 is a thread that starts ruined.
I think it would be a more impressive---and discussion-worthy---feat if IW managed to make the Xbox One and 360 versions look exactly the same. Now that we could talk about for 50 pages.

There was a guy in the COD thread that actually said that he's questioning whether or not the WiiU is actually more powerful than Xbox one, his post history left a lot to be desired though.
Oh yea? More legit then an interview with the developers? As much as I trust CBOAT, he isn't always 100% right.
It's been a couple of days with dozens of sites reporting on the "rumour".
IW could have easily contacted any single one of them, or even just tweeted, that the game is native 1080p60 on XB1 as well. They haven't.
