1080p on PS4 is expected and no way a surprise. 1080p on Xbox One is also expected and if confirmed, only a surprise because everyone here expects otherwise. Rumor is still just a rumor as it stands. Someone ask him about the Xbox One resolution, if they don't say 1080p, THEN the rumor is true.
Adam Boye's confirming 1080p on PS4 doesn't mean Xbox One isn't 1080p.

When i first posted it was flimsy. I've since heard from enough people that it's no longer flimsy... but the thread was shut down so I didn't have anywhere to post it.
Activision is going balls out working on optimizing the game on the xbox one, maybe in time for launch, maybe afterwards, maybe they can't... but they are trying. But as of right now the version people are playing are 1080p on the ps4 and 720p on the xbox one. #truthfact #notflimsy #poundsign
He mentioned several PS4 games, and only on COD did he say "native 1080p". Seems like he purposely fired shots, from what I can understand.

The rumour is true. There is no conceivable way in PR earth - not even Microsoft's fucked up version of PR in the lead up to the new gen - would allow that news to continue to spread and fester without denying it outright or saying the resolution was native 1080p on Xbox One to end that wildfire. No way.
And this is demonstrated by how simply Sony was able to confirm the resolution of the PS4 game to the world. They were able to because they have nothing to hide.

The packaging really doesn't mean anything as you can put 1080p on it as long the console can upscale it to that resolution.
