International Jump needs at least one more weekly series. Yea having monthly mangas are cool but it just needs one more good weekly manga. After Naruto and Bleach end soon I have no idea what they are going to do.

Rerun Naruto or Bleach but now in color, lol.

Though I guess when Naruto or Bleach ends, Toriko (provided it doesn't get cancelled before then, lol) could be the next thing to come to International Jump.

With all the attempts they have tried to make it popular, it wouldn't surprise me if they inject Viz with more money to super jump Toriko to get caught up so they can release it weekly.

Oh, lol, didn't even see it. It was hidden in the back with the no one cares about DBZ Color.

Nevermind, Toriko continues to stay unliked.

I haven't read Toriko but as far as I can tell its yet another boring One Piece/Dragonball/Naruto clone.

As if it wasn't bad enough not getting to meet Miki Yoshikawa, I'm gonna miss on seeing Asano and getting an autograph. Will have to make it up by grabbing the CTRL-T artbook and the 2nd volume of A Girl By The Sea.

Or they need to have more monthly series- grab like 8-10 of them. RIght now they have 4 series with non-weekly schedules- OnePunch Man, Blue Exorcist, Yugioh Zexal, and Seraph. If you double that number, you can basically guarantee you can have 2 series each week for the magazine.

Plus, when if Hunter x Hunter comes back, i'm pretty sure it would run in the magazine.

I rather have a weekly but what you're saying I would be okay with. It better get HxH or I would be angry.

I have no idea what's going on right now. Someone with a Sharingan needs main guy's help. I don't even remember main guy's name. I just remember that he's vaguely sort of mean to the moe-girl because he's so angsty about his lack of super contextual, mostly useless power.

Shigeshoushi 1-5 (also known as Embalmer)

I don't know why I was expecting some kind of a josei version of Franken Fran. This thing rubbed me the wrong way the moment I saw that the protagonist doesn't look as creepy as in the main MAL picture of the manga. He looks less Edward Scissorhands and more like L from Death Note as drawn by shoujo artist, wearing somewhat gothic punk rock clothes. Also he's a sexy ladiesman who has this "everyday girl character" tsundere follow him around. Yay

Yeah, pass.

Kaichou wa Maid-sama 85 [END] - THIS ENDED?!

Well, not much I can complain about the ending really, I guess. I mean,
wedding! Hooray!

Edit:

Girl the Wilds 109 - Some random bullies are about to die horrible, horrible deaths.

WTF maid sama end guess it's time to start back reading .

Was reading a mini interview to Miki Yoshikawa (author of Yankee and Yamada) and I found a certain part funny, so tried to translate to the best of my ability to share with you guys:

I'm a bit sad I wasn't able to sign for an autograph with her for Lucca 2013, but I probably wouldn't have been able to attend anyways.

Awesome story lol

Also don't know if this was posted since i only read the last 7 or so pages but OP now has 300 million copies in print .

It's weird two years ago I made fun of Toriko every day not giving it a chance. Finally last year I tried it and now it's my favorite manga. It really is a great manga people just need to give it the chance it deserves.

I think it's just more funny that it just can't get popular enough even with all the money Toei and Shueisha have been throwing at it to become popular.

That and the last couple of chapters have basically been UNLIMITED CLIFFHANGERS WORKS.

True and that makes me sad as it deserves to be more popular. It is pretty popular but not as popular as one piece, naruto, and bleach.

Or the fact that Soma is a better food manga than it is.

Really, the artstyle of Toriko is the main turnoff for me. It hurts to look at!

I agree with that Soma is a better food manga I like Toriko more as a battle manga than food manga. The art style is my favorite part it's a through back to Hokuto no Ken which is another one of my favorites.

Id take Soma anyday of the week over Toriko, especially after how odd the Toriko anime can look at times and being turned off from supporting materials of Toriko.

I hope Toei doesnt do Shokugeki no soma anime or else :(

Wow I just realized there hasn't been a new Berserk chapter since January. Is this a new record?Miura just cancel the damn thing. Fucking crazy.
December, actually.

Edit: wow didn't realize Miura is so sick :O
Allegedly.

I really loved it from its first episode through the Century Soup part, but I thought it really went downhill from there. I watched the anime until 111, then I just got uninterested, and dropped it. I don't think it's bad, but I got bored of waiting for Toriko to go to the Gourmet World.

toriko sucks so its a great fit for wsj

Read the manga instead the anime is a major downgrade from it's original material.

Last couple of chapters? everytime there is a battle arc there's a cliffhanger on every chapter and guess what? we are at the biggest battle arc of the series.
Toriko wasn't bad when it was about the adventure. Now it's just full blown battle manga trying top itself over and over.

It's just an arc, it's like saying the same exact thing in the Impel Down/MarineFord saga in OP.

Soma and toriko are so fundamentally different that they really can't be compared.

But yeah I preferred it when they focused more on finding and cooking weird ingredients than the avalanche of bullshit power ups that is the last arc. I don't mind bullshit power ups and it was fine when toriko does it before, but that was usually done as a payoff after discovering a new food or whatever. The current arc is just full of those kinds of payoffs with absolutely no build up, and that can be exhausting.

I kind of feel like he's trying to do a world reset in a way though.
