Vita PSN Game & Service Thread | October 2013 | Ver 2000, Batman and some Angry Birds

And that was 80 something hours? Now I feel like I really accomplished nothing. Was that all trophies, too? I thought I read that took at least 2 playthroughs.

It does. Which makes going for Max SLink on first playthrough a challenge that doesn't really net you much in the end, since you have to beat the game the second time to get the secret boss to unlock.

Just wanted to stop by before the new OT goes up!

Hey everybody! What are you playing now?

I'm bouncing between Valhalla Knights 3, Proteus, Sly TiT, Y's Seven, Lone Survivor, random matches of PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale, and Killzone: Mercenary.

I'm really looking forward to Tearaway next month!

Trying to get my stupid Ace card trophy in Killzone: Mercenary, then I'll probably play The Walking Dead.
Also trying to work through NSMB2 on my 3DS (shhhhh...)

I mean, you might be able to see it if you keep playing the demo for long enough -- you just need to get to one of the speed stages that has a rapid succession of switches to hit... then you'll notice the issues, i'd wager.
I think there's a good chance it will come to PS+ too, which is why I held off getting it until I could win it or find another way to obtain it...

I like Sine Mora much better... though I find the core gameplay fundamentally different. The worst I could say about Sine Mora was there was some slowdown in the Domus boss fight and ugh, maybe a few other places? But that's it. I don't remember anything glitching like the BS in Velocity Ultra.

Now I'm a bit more critical of Velocity Ultra in a way, because I was so pissed off that EU PS+ got it free on release date in MAY while NA PS+ got nothing for it... EVER... and we had to wait about 8 weeks after it was released in EU. After all that, I was not willing to give anyone money for it. :p

If Velocity Ultra didn't have those bugs that frustrated me while I was going for the trophies and high scores and such, I'd probably give it an 8. As it stands, I give it about a 6.

Yep, Sine Mora is definitely the better shooter by far. I personally don't mind the occasional slowdown since the gameplay is really tight, the bosses are just plain awesome and the story, well THAT story...

And then the LORD David Bowie saith to his Son, Jonny Depp: 'Go, and spread my image amongst the cosmos. For every living thing is in anguish and only the LIGHT shall give them reprieve.'
I just got my 64gb card in the mail, but my system's been stuck on that 100 app error message. So basically I can't even use it, glad it's still unopened.

My first playthrough was on Very Easy. Needed to maximize as much time outside the dungeon and minimize as least as possible while inside the dungeon to go for a max social links playthrough. I'm doing it on Very Hard for my next one since it'll help me with the more difficult Hardcore Risette Fan Trophy will be the most tedious though. 250 individual lines......
Also grabbing as many costumes as possible. Some are hilarious.

The Vita attached to the PS4 demo station at the Gamestop I was just at had a Tearaway demo. (And Runner 2)

I honestly enjoyed Tearaway more that seeing a PS4 in action.
I had imagined it can it would control kind of janky and not smooth. But was surprised at how nice everything looked, how tight the controls were, and how smooth the frame rate was, at least in the demo.

I'm going to love this game.

Hardcore Risette isn't as hard as everyone makes it out to be. Just use your full party and try to hit weaknesses with everyone, etc.
I actually found the game more boring after it popped... it gave me less incentive to pay attention to the combat. :\

I wonder how much space Injustice is gonna take up...

3gb or more. If MK was 3.1... Injustice should be at least that big (even if I think it's inferior... :lol)
