PC Low Settings Screenshot Thread

I have a friend that had to play it like that on a crappy laptop with a Core2Duo and Intel integrated graphics, at 800x600, and still only got like really unstable 20 fps. Went through the whole campaign and played MP like that. He still enjoyed it so more power to him I guess.

I played fallout 3 on a geoforce 750 and an intel p4 and got around 15 FPS out doors 25 indoors and beat it and still enjoyed it 15 is bothersome and would never do it again but 20 works even if its not consistent

Well as for legit worst I've seen here, Red Faction OG is the winner so far. It must have been turning off absolutely everything else but Geomod for it to look like that.

Hitman: Blood Money's face texture is hilarious too. =D

I may post a few of my own once I get home.

damn looker Crysis 3. Clearly, when it comes to graphics, Crytek blows away any other game developer with their Crysis franchise.

I probably shouldn't have used TXAA on the highest setting shots, as they look a little blurry for it.

I'll maybe post some comparisons of Outlast later.

Awesome idea for a thread.

Ladies and gentlemen, I bring you:

The Star Citizen early alpha Hangar module.

DX11 only and demanding at least 1GB VRAM, but running on my (t)rusty ATi 4850 - a DX10.1 graphics card with 512MB thanks to MS's WARP and a genius Star Citizen forumite. This means ~25fps, unstable framerate, glitches. Still, ya can't get any lower than this, can you. Oh sure, it's not on the same level as that Doom 3 retrofit, but who's complaining.

Besides copying (not replacing!) two files from the Crysis 3 SDK into a directory no modifications to the original installation were made.

Settings: low, 1280x720 in windowed mode, captured with irfanview (client area only, so no borders), (losslessly) compressed with pngout plugin. WYSIWIG.

AMD Athlon II X4 635, 16GB RAM, ATi 4850. Stock speeds, no tweaks other than a new GPU cooler since the old one died on me.

Motion blur looks so off in still shots.

Motion blarg.

There is an option to disable motion blarg, but it's only reachable via the command interface (along with a host of other options like FOV). However, fixing it that way would have been illegal according to this thread's rules.

How about sum SSZ? Strike Suit Zero, in full.
I helped kickstart this. Also, it's got Oculus Rift support. Two good reasons to post them pics.

I'm a lazy bastard and it's two in the morning and dammit, I'm a lover, not a fighter. Hence, blue=tutorial, red=first level.

No mech mode for you because... dunno. I just wanted to fly the standard ship.

MORE SPACE. At lowest possible settings, of course. Because anyone can do 1 FPS, but only few amongst us are strong enough to get to know the pixels on a more personal level.

X3: Albion Prelude.

Oooh nice roids....

...and then I died.

This thread simultaneously puts to be the notion that the console version is just the PC version running on low and makes me wonder if my PC can actually run more games than I give it credit for.

PNG is best for pictures without compression

JPEG. are better for Bandwith saving but are compressed unless you know how to make max quality JPEG's.

its not realy necessary but here is a guide

For this thread the choice is yours.

Interesting read. Does that mean I'm fine if I set the JPEG quality to 100% when using GIMP?

This is what it looked like when I tried to play L4D2 on my 516MB RAM and integrated graphics CPU PC with no dedicated GPU back before I upgraded:

1-2 constant FPS. Took 10 minutes of loading and audio looping, but I made it in.

I didn't make it to the elevator, but I still managed to get this somehow:

I love that I have a time stamp for this tragic day in my life. I even remember killing the Spitter as she was smashing on the door and it taking me by surprise that I actually managed to do it. The lag between me shooting something and it happening was incredible.
