This anime's soundtrack is amazing. My favorite is Hunting for Your Dream.

I am not a manga reader (though I know some of what happens) -- it's just a badass shot, IMO. :)

Not as deep as he thinks
Even though this episode was all talk, it was the good kind of talk imo. It was great seeing how that lizard's ability works and you know Netero is preparing for the inevitable showdown. Things are slowly progressing to the actual plan and it's so interesting to see. Also, I like the way they introduced Komugi (?).

Holy shit this just made my day. Even though I don't read ahead of the anime I want to see this series finish because there are still so stuff togashi needs to get done.

This is the first anime thread I saw so I figured I'd ask here..

Can someone recommend me some good new animes? My favourite ones would be Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Hikaru No Go (this one being my GOAT), GTO..yeah thats bout it.

Yeah, he started the arc only to go into hiatus... I'm hoping for at least 30 chapters again. It was painful to read the Chimera Ant with 10 chapter every 1~2 years.

I would recommend, taking Hunter x Hunter into consideration:
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (2012 anime, not the old OVAs)
Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (kinda old though)

And from this season:
Valvrave the Liberator
Kill La Kill

But I'm far from being an specialist in anime recommendations. In fact, I haven't watched any or your favorite animes (I do plan to watch Cowboy Bebop someday though). Even so, I would advise you to avoid these ones:

Catching up on some episodes. I love this show, but holy crap the inner monologue Killua has watching Gon fight is so drawn out.

Doubt it considering no way the arc gets finished before he goes on hiatus again. Unless... No more hiatuses!?!? :0

People have done the math and figured out that if you factor in the time in Hiatus, every time it returns, it gets enough chapters published as if it had been at 1 chapter per month. As best I can tell, it went on hiatus last in April of 2012... which means by December, we should be in line for ~20ish chapters this time

The calculation works if you count from when he started serialization, not when he went on hiatus (i.e. he dumps all the chapters he had up until that point to Shueisha, and starts working on a new batch as they start publishing those chapters). So it would be ~28 chapters, probably 30.

Back when I did it I think it came down to 30 chapters in Feb or 40 in start of 2015, so the rumor would be in line with that.

Pretty hardcore inner monologues this episode but that's just the HxH I love. Things are finally taking shape with the King's end of the arc.

I was thrown off by Cheetu's power. He was standing there on that tower with a cynical badass look and it just
turned out to be a game of tag.
lol

This episode also showed how inexperienced the Ants are compared to people who have fought many battles. Cheetu is in way over his head.

I suspect to see some Knov action next week. Can't wait to see what he could do

We still have roughly 24ish episodes left in this arc and roughly 10 episodes left after that till we catch up to the manga.

Sometime in June is when everything will probably be caught up.
