A variety of reasons. Someone else wanting to use the TV probably being the biggest one for many people. Personally, I usually use my Vita while I'm sitting in bed. Remote play would effectively add my PS4 library to the list of games I can play while I'm in bed.

The Vita TV is a Vita with no screen. It'll be exactly the same.

Yes. The receiving device just has to decode the video stream and send back controller inputs. Same as Gaikai.

That NFS remote play video sucks ass. Is it my laptop? Freezes and shit everywhere. I mean it may be their game, but there's no way it's doing 2 different screens if that's what it's like in one screen mirrored.
The latency and visuals were decent at least.

Wow! This looks amazing! All of a sudden I don't really care about PS Vita exclusives anymore... haha.
