Ooh, this sounds like my kind of thing. Will try and come back with thoughts.

Anyone following Jazzpunk? Trailer here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=wxfgajectCs&desktop_uri=/watch?v=wxfgajectCs. It's like Mel Brooks Presents Brendon Chung's Acid Trip. If the full thing is as good as the little slice I got to play then it's going to be something special.

I have no idea what's going on but I think I like it.
Inside your apartment is your bed where you can save the game, a storage cabinet where you can arrange your load outs, and the computer upon which you receive missions via email that you can take on or ignore. Outside of your apartment are the city’s busy streets, which are constantly moving with people who will moan about having to do their shitty corporate jobs.
In your immediate vicinity is a clinic where you’ll often pay a visit to after missions to patch yourself up, and where you can also kit yourself out with cybernetic limbs. There’s also a gun shop that obviously sells guns, as well as attachments for them such as silencers and different sized calibres. There’s also a guy with a mohican in the gun shop who sells computers that will help you hack into mainframes and other systems quicker.
If you head off down the back alley from the main street you’ll come to the data broker. Here you can grab software from the black market that you use to overload security systems to open doors, vendors, and disable turrets.

Hopefully this means that the third episode is coming real soon.
There Came an Echo is coming along swimmingly!
^^Not quite sure what kind of game I'm looking at but I really dig the art style. I like the font choice too.
^^
Voice-controlled (or not voice-controlled) squad-based RTS. It's the beginning of the game, though...no squad, no weapons. Yet.
Anyone know anything about this game Signal Ops?
Never heard of it, but I love the art style and it sounds very unique and interesting

Signal Ops best feature...
Triple full body awareness.
Barely played any of the games in this month's thread. i'll try to remember to give some of the free ones a swing in the next few days.
any feedback on Super Lemonade Factory? It's an iOS game but i'm wondering if its worth a buck on IGS
From the voting list, which Paradise game are we talking about? The 2006 adventure game by the Syberia dude?
Downloaded all the free demo things, will give them a go. Is Spectrophobia the only horror game on the list? Cool to see a game from Singapore.
Inescapable looks very Metroid, much like Ghost Song :O

DataJack looks fun; might give that a shot whenever I beat Risk of Rain. If ever I beat RoR. Still haven't passed the 2nd level. My kind of game.
Talking about RoR I need to include a decription of the game to Toma include it in the next month thread.
Came out in April 2013, and yet no reviews or anything for a tactical shooter stealth espionage game?! Might have to try it out for myself...
I'm working on OP impressions, but I can already tell you that Paradis Perdus is a horror game in my book, and a maginificent one at that.
I reviewed it back then, really fun if you're playing with friends, not so fun on single player. I had some connection issues back then, dont know how is it nowadays
The beta version was in a previous thread, but the current one is full release? If so, I'll add it for the next thread if I get a proper post.
Also for anyone caring: Interstellaria already met its Kickstarter goal.

Risk of Rain is an action platformer with roguelike elements. With permanent death as a primary feature, players will have to play their best to get as far as possible. Fight on a mysterious planet with randomly spawning enemies and bosses, either alone or with 3 friends in online co-op. With over 100 items at your disposal, you will find the tools you need to find the teleporter back home. Discover a myriad of randomly chosen stages, from the desolate forest to the frozen tundra.
Awesome game. My best run was four levels. Lasted 48 minutes, took out five bosses. It was insaneRisk of Rain - $9.99 (PC)
So far I've made it to level 3 with the Commando. Unlocked the Enforcer (ehh, can't solo with him to save my life) and the Engineer (seems promising for solo with the right items).Awesome game. My best run was four levels. Lasted 48 minutes, took out five bosses. It was insane
Two Brothers released today!
You can get at GamersGate, and it'll be on Steam eventually.

Two Brothers takes a long hard look at death in video games… when the player is killed in combat or triggers a deadly trap, instead of being greeted a familiar GAMEOVER screen, the player finds himself in what we call the “Afterlife Hub”.
This realm of the dead is a colorful and mysterious place where the player can explore, find clues, and interact with characters who have passed on in the games story… sometimes even bringing some of them back from the dead.
When the player wants to return to gameplay, they can jump from the edge of the heavens and get back in to the action and exploration!
This mechanic is vital to the gameplay, as sometimes interacting with the dead is just as important as interacting with the living… this feature often requires the player intentionally ending their session in a game over, just to cross over to the other side.
I love you so much. So, so much. Thanks for posting.
Guys, check out the video. Does the prospect of a proper Alundra 2 make you wet your pants? I am getting super heavy Alundra vibes here. Definitely going to buy that and give impressions next month. Its currently 33% cheaper (10$ instead of 15$ for the next 7 days).
Maybe I can get around to writing something up before the sale ends.
Oh and:
Jaw, meet floor.
