I just want to say im fed up with Sony. I bought a ps4 over the xbone for longevity , and because a lot of my friends will eventually get one.

However, Sony has been pathetic with their ps4 exclusives. They only had frickin killzone and knack.....thats it. Both games are mediocre as per metacriric ratings.

For the next year, all we will have is infamous (never been a fan) , drive club (which i think was ready for launch but purposely delayed until 2014 to make sony's next year line up feel loaded, which its not) , (not even ps4 exclusive and not a baseball fan) , and the order, which is a new ip that we've seen so little of.

This is why the jokes of sony having no games are valid.

Xbox has a HUGE console exclusive in titanfall, halo 5, project spark, sunset overdrive, and more for 2014.

Before you say 'sony is holding back their cards' thats just BS to me at this point. At one point i believed it, but not anymore.


Where the hell are the games Sony? 2014 is looking like crap for sony exclusives, and that pisses me off.

I believe xbone is the better choice for games in the short.term, and and sony in the long term, but many gamers arent patient.

There is Naughty Dog hopefully. Is PS4's second biggest franchise not exciting enough? Also, I disagree. I think PS4 has a good first year line up. Maybe not incredible, but certainly good enough to match most of PS3's best years.

Weak? There already three AAA exclusives for 2014. Driveclub, The Order 1886 and Infamous Second Son and maybe the most popular new Uncharted.

I'm in the same boat as him. For the most part, buying any of these consoles day one is a large part of impulse buying.

Right now besides Resogun, there just isn't much that I'm into on the console.

So you're wowed by the actual game or metacritic scores? Killzone is a multiplayer game with a campaign attached to it. If it was rated as a multiplayer it would have scored much higher. That's the problem with metacritic isn't it.

Consumer gets excited about Sony Playstation hype, buys console, plays games, gets burned out with the available content. Considering this is a video game forum, it seems pretty realistic from an average poster's standards.

While I've only had limited time with mine, I must say I've actually dropped all content in order to concentrate on Knack.

Originally I was splitting time with that and KZ, but once I got past the initial few stages and really wrapped my head around the combat ... I can't stop playing it. Haven't even opened BF4 or played the downloadable content (other than Flower).

Well I got my system today at Best Buy, showed up an hour early and was 7th in line. They had about 20 I believe. I found it pretty funny to hear people talk aloud about most of Xbones games being 720p compared to PS4.

Anyway, this fucking system is beautiful. Tje I was so paranoid about the HDMI issue and it looked all good so I hooked everything up and couldn't figure out where the damn power button was lol. I felt like an old man having to look at the instructions lol. Went through the setup quickly, the 1.51 update took no time, and redeemed all of my codes. This system just moves so fast and easily unlike PS3. I love how simple the UI is.

Played Resogun and it is so fun and crazy, I wish it had the 3D update already. Also played the Trine 2 demo in 3D and goddamn what a beautiful game. Amazing art. Also played the Fifa demo and it looked a good deal better, and sounded terrific, compared to the PS3 version. Also noted improved physics.

Didn't buy any $60 games today, but I am getting Killzone tomorrow along with ACIV and BF4 on black Friday. So glad next gen is here.

How so? Surely buying a console with games a person has zero interest in for at least the next year, maybe longer is a complete waste of money.

How is that a foolish statement. By waiting he would be able to skip all the issues with launch consoles, a larger library of games would be available and the price may have dropped (at least on some online retails).
