Have you tried purchasing the DLC too? They seem to have separate Japanese versions as well.

Armor doesn't go up as well? Could have sworn it does. Well, the stuff you buy in the tower portion before you get to the castle goes up in price. I just wish they told you how much everything is and how much everything is going to be so I can plan out my purchases better. It's hard to do that when the prices change without telling me.

I'd argue that no game manages to deal with strange mathematics and chances in AC.

Ah you mean other types of sim games (those were life and village sims). And nah, Harvest Moon is a bit more... RPGish than farming sims in Steam.

It seems buggy if the game has cards but no achievements. Manually getting the gameid from the store page and inserting it into sam has worked for me.

i don't THINK armor does, but you are right about the castle stuff. But you can view it before each run to see what the current prices are. I'm about 5 hours in and havn't found it to be that much of an annoyance.

Music critics have their heads up their ass much like movie critics do. They would prop up some obscure death metal band in comparison just to get some internet cred.

If this would be more like OUTPOST (1994) and less like XCOM / DungeonKeeper I would be all over it.
Is there any Sci-Fi RTS/strategy game that is less about the individual human scale and more about a bigger scale? Terraforming, building a colony, digging, mining?

I think I'm Jesus. But in all seriousness, I remembered super-famicom saying that, occasional hiccups aside, he had no issues purchasing from the US store despite being in Japan, so I thought to myself, "I wonder if the reverse is possible: can you purchase from the Japanese store if you're in a region that uses USD?"

Wow. It has actually been ten years since this game was released...

I thought Tron 2.0 was great, especially given my like for the original movie and world. This is one game I would love to see added to GOG and Steam. The jumping puzzle issues were annoying, and not everyone liked the pace of the action or the disc weaponry. I had no problems with either of these issues though. The style, story, levels, music, and visuals were unique and I thought quite rewarding. Have fun!

Started and finished 9.03m, it is very short indeed and only took about
15 minutes
. I still think it was a worthwhile experience though and part of the money goes to good cause.

I might run it again and then go some CS: GO before Sanctum 2 co-op session. Woo, I play games now :)

i've never noticed the armor's price changing. but i'm not sure im understanding the complaint of the tower portion. it only changes price when you are upgrading to the next level. ie: the first upgrade is probably 100, and the 10th upgrade is 1000. that's the only logical way to do it or else you'd be able to max out your armor level in like 3 runs

FEAR 2, Dead Island, Homefront, Metro: Last Light and Risen 2 all have fully-fitted JP-only apps, but they're all tied to retail subs. So, uh, anybody know of any Japanese game stores that ship overseas?

Bloody typical after I snagged Enslaved for $9.99

Speaking of which it's got some lovely issues. As per usual UE enable vsync is rubbish and it still tears left right and centre, there's horrendeous amounts of motion blur, AA, AF and shadowing are set really low. Thankfully it can't be sorted with a bit of .ini tweaking and d3doverider.

Seams like a real quick and dirty port. Then again I wasn't expecting too much.

Amazon.co.jp and be prepared to pay through the arse for shipping and tax. Though you might be alright seeing as it's relatively close.
