. Everyone always says that it rains all the time in the UK but it really doesn't. I am in the driest part of the country where rainfall is concerned though so other UK GAFer's mileage might vary there. The weather is actually one of the best aspects of living in the UK for me. I spent 3 weeks in L.A. when I was younger and well before the end I wanted to scream because the weather was exactly the same every single day. Almost drove me mad with tedium. The nice thing about living in the UK is that one never really knows what one is going to get weather wise from day to day. I like that. Being a temperate climate it is never too extreme in any direction [although we almost got flooded recently :/] so one may go for a walk pretty much every day of the year. It suits me anyway. prevert

If you don't have a huge backlog like me and want to play it now, then you should go for it. Since it's a 2k Games published game it probably will go even cheaper later

Usually if you have to ask this then the answer is no. The game looks incredibly forgettable anyway.
You're talking to the same group of guys who went nuts because Deadly Premonition was releasing on steam.

Thanks for that link. I was thinking the art style for the game was quite peculiar and nice, bu the video makes it look even more interesting.

Every time when people post deals like that which have coupons they almost never post the actual voucher code itself.
I should be able to get this for $28 so I might jump on it after the Winter Sale due to the Early Access goodies. I'll just have to remember to skip the original game come said sale as buying it then would reduce the value proposition a bit.

I'd say no. I didn't enjoy it at all, but that's just me.
It'll be cheaper when released. It comes with extras that the final release will not (wasteland 1, novellas, soundtrack, art book).
I've also heard that some devs will set the price higher at early access to scare off people who might casually pick up a game and not understand that they're getting into an unfinished product.
Thanks for posting this fellow GAFfer. 54.99 is a bit harsh for me but the offers are nice, I heard good things about the Soundtrack. The Wasteland 1 offer might not be for me. Let's see. Is there a confirmed date for the actual release of the game?

You signed the Eula for Steam and that means you accept ANY changes done to it and ANY graphical changes being made.
You don't have any rights to a clean client without Apple Advertising.

Even if you may seem a trivial thing, you must remove the Apple logo from the Windows client.

It's early access. Games in early access often charge more than they will at launch to help fund the game. As it gets closer to release date, the price drops, but you have to wait.
The cheapest KS tier that included beta access was $55.

"No earlier than late 2013" and given the beta has just been released I'd guess Q2 2014 at the earliest.
Some do -- it's up to the developer/publisher. Pricing your game inordinately high during alpha/beta is a good way to ensure, at least for the most part, that the only people purchasing it are those who understand it's a buggy, incomplete product.

But If then what was the point of the kick-starter then? couldn't they budget according to what they got, That's why I don't like kick-starter you have to pay more and more to get a finished product.
