Yeah, I've been getting thrown off online a couple of times. I also can't get on the PSN Store and redeem a couple of codes.
Guess I'll wait a little later to play online. Kinda reeks since I got COD Ghosts and it's the only PS4 game I have.

Well to be fair, having a problem with just one game (at least that's what it seems like from reading the description), is a little different to the entire network having issues. The most important thing is "Xbox Live Core Services", which is up and running.

My kid got Ghosts for Christmas, and instead of playing online together, we are watching Christmas Vacation for the 1000th time.

How am I trolling, I have bought 2 Ps4, Spent hours setting them up for Xmas, paid the PSN fee for a year, bought lots of digital games and I cant play any of them.
How is that trolling ? I think its perfectly valid to be very annoyed.
In fact, we should be making a big noise about this to SONY, as they are now pay to play online and digital verification of games - I download a game I pay for and cant play it.
I cant play resogun single player as its DRM is linked to signing in to PSN.
This is the sort of stuff that make everyone on GAF go crazy with the One DRM after E3 and the 24 hour check in.
This is worse, no PSN, All my games have a little padlock on the ICON on the bottom right hand corner (and I have paid for them and have working OPTICAL Fibre 70 MBS 10 ms PING).
I am speechless and we deserve an answer.
Maybe Sony need to implement a solution so we can play these games without the pSN DRM check in. Something needs to be done and we deserve an answer

At least with something like Simcity, EA has the excuse of claiming not knowing what sales would be. Sony knew exactly how many units were shipped, sold and activated. They should have had very solid estimate of what to expect on Christmas Day, and should have tested, and had the infrastructure ready.
