As much as I expected it, at this point it's clear that the whole show is going to be about the girls essentially doing nothing. It worked fine in this episode though, which is a fair bit funnier than the first. I liked the dynamic being extended past the the main friend group, and hopefully the idiot twins weird out more people than just Aikawa in the future.

To think Id get one of my dream match ups so early. The Narukami mirror match was hilarious and intense (though no Toshiki Kai saying "its the final turn!"). Naoki and Kai have the best decks and even best cards getting so many criticals.
I saw Kamui silhouette on the board so maybe he can get a match in too. Good.

Buddy Complex-1
This is actually kinda legit. The first half reminded me of Terminator to an extent with mechs. There's a semi horror vibe with the mech chasing the lead as he had no way of fighting back. This is different than what I expected but it looks to be a lot of fun. I hope they go all in with the time travel aspect. I'm guessing the lead is like some sort of John Connor figure in the future.
I'm also impressed with some of the setup such as showing the MC is coordinated and has great reflexes such as when playing basketball or when he grabbed the eraser midair. His father was also a mechanic seemingly so there is that background for intelligence.
I'm really interested in the writing staff for this now.

Yui, the babysitter of two idiots that love to creep on her while she sleeps.
More consistent than the previous two episodes. Looks real nice too, which is cool considering there's nothing special going on. I enjoyed the feel of this episode the most so far. It did a good job capturing what it's like to be on summer holiday with not much to do, but with more brain damage. The show seems to be falling into its groove, so I'll continue watching for now. I'll be interested to see whether the girls relationship develops much, or if they attempt much characterization as things move on. This episode seemed to begin to do that.

I really enjoyed this episode purely on the fact of the teachers going out to drink and talk amongst themselves, and he finally did it! Also ending theme was pretty interesting.

Yep, right now the only shows they have that i could see myself watching are returning ones like Silver Spoon and Golden Time.

The AOTY thing should have a minimum number of shows to participate, the "Album of the Year" voting does that, and I think it's better as it helps weed out people who only watched 1 or 2 shows.

Lol that bird scene was so weird, but the cuts and wordless communication between the girls sold it. Kinema are nailing the visuals of this show, and it's appreciated.
Aikawa is showing up more and more as things progress, and we learn that she thinks creep shots are a sign of friendship. Not even Yui's sleep deprived journey into retardation can blunt her apparent magnetism that sees the expansion of her friend group/yuri harem. More characters is a good thing though, and since "Mom-sensei" is going viral and Aikawa's other friends ask the worst questions, it's clear which group is best.

People were upset when I even suggested a minimum of just two so I didn't go ahead with it. If 2014 doesn't have an "AoT" then maybe we can discuss it again next year when accusations of elitism will be less. I know some are disappointed I kept the old points rule so first ranked show still gets 10 even if it is the only show voted for.
The comment rule seems to caught a few people out. Well reading the OP is technically a rule so why not stick it to those who don't follow it?

So the festival committee chairman just says most of the students can take it easy and not work while the ones that stayed over are getting swamped by work and the student council president does nothing? Seems like a very silly way to do the whole "Yukino is overworking herlself to sickness" plot. Oh well 3 more episodes and this dumb Yukino drama will be over. I really miss it when the show was just about them helping random students.

These moments keep the episode moving, even though it is very much a transitional one in the middle of the case, with the characters sitting around watching videos and speculating about other character's motives. We do get to see Conan pretty far adrift for most of the episode, with him legitimately having no clue how to fit the case together, which is a nice change of pace.
