Keep seeing these articles/opinions about how Valve sold out by removing the most unique feature of the SC, the touchscreen. What the hell? That was never the most unique thing about it (you want one, get a WiiU controller), it was the trackpads with haptics feedback. Valve couldn't be more clear about this. Ghosting made it redundant anyway, plus wouldn't work with VR. Why aren't people paying attention?

Most important feature is always the one that was removed.

I've got to say Groupees is the only site that does Indie bundles right. Most of the the time with other bundles i'm forced to pay more for games i don't even want.

If Valve ever did begin to outsource support I'd throw my hat into the ring and point to GAF. I mean, I don't have any professional experience in direct customer support roles but, for Wheelman, I'd try anything... assuming, of course, external support staff also received the Steam Master sub (the Steam Press sub would be okay, too, even though it lacks Wheelman, as it does have a bunch of pulled games, such as Outrun). ;)

But but but obtaining the entire Steam Library wouldn't instantly void all your efforts? T_T

Also, the Steam Master Sub is kept updated or you get every game released until your hiring day and then you've to keep buying stuff for yourself?
Because in the second case, poor people hired before Steam who only got CS1.6. T_T

yeah, Steam has really outgrown Valve. They just can't ignore it anymore, because "corporate culture". As a service provider it's in their best interest to provide good service for their customers. As someone said keep Valve as a flat organization and make a separate Steam entity with actual management.

Especially once they start getting involved with hardware.

...does anyone know how many high chaos levels until I get the bad ending?? I know I got it in the first level and killed like 3-4 in the second level and zero in the third. Am I screwed with the ending : /
You're fine. You have to go on a killing spree to get the chaos ending. It's pretty lenient.

The middle and end might not actually be quite as slow, I think the cutscenes end up being spaced out a little better as you move forward. It's still a very cutscene heavy game all the way through, though. Like 8ish hours of it throughout the first game alone.
you weren't kidding when you said there were lots of cutscenes in this game

story picked up a lot of steam, tho, I'm already hooked

Huh, Steam is downloading Kung Fu Rag Doll for some reason. When I click the download it say that I've played it for 6 hours. And when I click the community hub it takes me to Quake's page.

Edit. Appararently I'm not the only one. Someone Quake has been renamed Alien Swarm and he's downloading 1.3GB patch.

Edit 2. Finished downloading. My Quake has been replaced by Rag Doll Kung Fu. :(

People claim that B tier games are dead but every Steam sale proves how greatly exaggerated that claim is. Or perhaps it merely shows that Triple A is no longer a description of quality but merely a description of the budgets allotted for development and marketing. And, perhaps, unrealistic aspirations.

I am 4 hours in Lost Planet 3 and the story still has not started. If Spark Unlimited want to provide a taste of the boredom that Jim Peyton's experiencing working for NEVEC at the Coronis base on EDN III then they have well and truly succeeded. The gameplay thus far has consisted largely of fetch quests (go here collect T-En, shoot these bugs, fetch this doodad, etc.) and repair jobs, which consist of pressing a button and twiddling thumbsticks. Peppered in between these activities are cutscenes of Jim's long distance correspondence with his wife back on Earth. It's glacial, this is the shit story Jim is telling to his daughter (or grand-daughter, not too sure as I was half paying attention to the beginning) as he's dying being crushed by a rock as an old man in the future. It's kind of bizarre. Some sinister mystery is finally being hinted at. Who knows how long it will take to unfold and possibly become interesting.

Did any rename to HL3?

No, but I have three Portals now. I think one of them is really TF2, but my TF2 is Left 4 Dead 2.

I thought so too, but you removed me, I think.

It's weird, I've only removed one guy from my friends list ( someone who called me
"my nigga"
or something like that, don't remember the exact phrasing ), but I don't think it was you, was it?

Anyway, feel free to add me again, I'll accept the friend request when I get home :)

I am 4 hours in Lost Planet 3 and

'Triple A' has technically always been a description of the budget allotted.

Also, Lost Planet 3 is a B-tier game.

Glad you're enjoying it, despite the long cutscenes, there were a lot of attention to detail, and every character was great in that game :D

That one's pretty good. I also like one where you steal the necklace and plant it on one of your servants to improve your intrigue.

The event fires again twenty years later and your character is like "OH GOD I FORGOT ABOUT THE COOKS WIFE."

Hahahaha. There are so many awesome things in this game.

At least they didn't become
Bad Rats

I got updates for 2 games I don't own : Counter Strike : Source and Ducati World Championship but the only thing it did is moving Portal where Counter Strike should be and Runaway : A Road Adventure where Ducati should be.

Someone is drunk at Valve right now.

I have a bad feeling about this.

I became sour on episodic games lately, I blame all Cognition debacle for it.
It doesn't seem to work as intended, may be it does work for Telltale, but I'm not even sure about that. I try to refrain from buying episodic games until these are Finnish.
