Thread is weird...

An uncharted game with a bit of player agency. Sounds what I'd want from a bond game.

I hope it works out and ends up being great

I'll most likely get this day, but there's just this feeling of the main character looking stiff during gameplay. I'm also not really a fan of Hitman, but this looks good from what I've seen so far.

How's the frame rate on PS5, Bond?
That's the big question atm. The previews were done on high end PCs, and the B-roll footage looks like "console quality" PC footage with a ps5 controller. It's not path traced for sure as there is SSAO, SSR everywhere, and lumen-like boiling artifacts in some low light areas. But it does look quite sharp at 60 fps and I doubt base console performance mode will look like that. It could be pro footage? Don't know. No idea if this is going to be an issue at launch or not.

When you play Hitman he is very Stiff too, so I would assume similar animations with the same engine. The things that need updating from Hitman are shooting and certainly driving. Bond has to be able to shoot and have it feel good.

Hard to determine if the previews are this is generic pre-release hype or if it really will be a GoTY nomination.

The premise of the game and the mix of the Uncharted gameplay with hitman style determine how to solve the level with like 4 or 5 different possibilities, seems like it is a winner in concept.

I have been championing the possibilities for this game, I am very curious to see the final release.

Edit: BTW, if this concept "works". This is absolutely the path Uncharted remake and Splinter Cell should take,
