Ya know, this show can eat my butt.

Chris asks a trivia question about the least earned achievment in the game, and asks for us to email in with the answer. Winners got a chatpad. They chose someone who, in tonight's show, won a prize for top 3, then got picked to be The One.

I was (finally) in the Mob last night. Went out at the same time as the One though :( I was sure that lost guy was after some milk :lol

When I won Zuma, the email claimed it was Poker Smash so you might have Uno Rush after all.
 
Wow....didn't know that you could get achievements in this game. My propensity for 100% achievement completion of a game has now been activated :lol

This game is still so much fun :D

I knew that answer strictly from playing Halo 3. :D It was the only word I recognized (and it made sense....fallen soldiers/Spartans.....and it's a Halo 3 map. Booyah!)
 
When you hold R, your stats screen comes up. On the Season tab, there are 3 icons, one looks like "the one" with lines behind him, one looks like "the one" and one looks like a trophy. What do these mean and how do you earn them? I somehow have a 2 next to the one that looks like "the one"

One is for being the one, one is for being in the Mob, one is for finishing in the prize positions in the crowd

That was my final achievement, it was tough. Took me about a week to finally nail it
 
the problem with this is that i start playing with some friends and 15 minutes in i get bored and stop taking the questions seriously and just chat so my accuracy percentage is just dropping lol

Anyways game was great fun, I haven't played at all this season and the improvements since s1 are huge.

I got quick draw tonight, but the dude answered wrong before I could extend that to the 12 streak. Was like 30 away from top 3.

Great night tonight - two very close rounds back to back. I ended up quitting just after 11:00est, though.

I loved all of PA's questions...especially when so few got them! Like the people who thought Zombies weren't Undead :lol
 
heh would you believe that my Xbox 360 pro 20gig, three way red ringed on 1vs100 Tuesday the week of x-mas. 5 weeks after the 3 year mark so out of warranty its still sitting on my table because I'm to poor to pay the $99 repair fee.

I guessed and got that one right :D

And one thing I noticed: Goon 4a was one of the top 3 prize winners. The very next round, he became The One. He used one of his helps on the VERY FIRST QUESTION (which was: What is the southernmost state in the continental U.S.? Arizona, Louisiana, or Florida?). A little while later, we went on to lose with 67 mob members remaining.

WTF.
 
Woo. First time winning a crowd prize last night for me! Unfortunately, it's MM9, which I already have on Wii, but I won't complain (having said that, really must chase up my Zuma from last Season).

Not quite sure how it happened, really, most of the time it's a massive achievement for me just to hit the top 100; how I got second, I've no idea. Took me completely by surprise; didn't realise I'd won until it flashed up under my score.

We're down to about 7-8k players on Friday games now in Europe; I think there's a pretty good chance that I'll get a second opportunity in the mob despite having been eliminated.

I keep wondering about that, trying to work out how many people must have been in The Mob by now this season (around 10,000, I'd say). Assuming the same 8,000 players every week I'd say you were right to expect another go, but that 8,000 a show is probably up to 50,000 different gamertags so there's very little chance at all, really.

I think it's quite likely that there's a significant proportion who just keep playing, not least because I keep encountering people with total scores well into the millions. We'll see if I get in again, anyway!
 
I have just been The One and failed. The question I got wrong knocked out about 50 mobsters though, leaving seven with prizes, so I'm pretty confident that even my helps would have been utterly pointless. I guess it was my time!

Damnit :(

I dunno...anyone who actually submits a video of themselves dancing like a avatar deserves a punch to the dick, I my opinion. Anyways, I had a few friends over and we played for awhile last night. It's pretty fun but I hate when other people get the controller because they take way to fuckin long to answer, I'm a quickdraw answerer so it's hard to watch.

I fuckin hate the commercial breaks. I get that it's free and everything but they too long and they show the SAME FREAKIN ADS on almost every breakl.

Playing this live for the first time, so fun :D. Does the person with the highest score become the One, or is it a random choice from the Mob.
 
Little reminder to everyone: there's a live show at 3 pm today -- a special Super Bowl episode. I don't think it's sports questions either though I could be wrong.
